Anyone Use Improvely To Track Campaigns?

I've been a CPV Lab user for years, simply because there wasn't anything else out there that seemed better. Although it's fine for straight-forward affiliate marketing campaigns, it can get needlessly complicated when you want to do anything advanced.

Another thing I don't like about Lab is that you can't retain important data like cities your visitors/conversions come from for more than 3 days. They keep promising to change this but they never do.

In addition to that, I'm going to be managing client accounts and need sub accounts to keep things in order and give partial access to reporting if needed.

I've heard good things about Improvely, especially their fraud detecting features. Has anyone used this software and how would you compare it to CPV Lab or 202 in regards to tracking, running A/B tests, and reporting?
 


I hear that iMobiTrax is the best. Some guy recommend Voluum the other day as well, but it does have some problems.

Everyone who uses Voluum has to go through their domain, this is bad if you want to run multiple traffic accounts etc and remain anonymous. It also lacks in its "rules" you cannot block IPs or set up as intricate rules as you can with other solutions such as iMobiTrax.

I still use CPVLab for some campaigns, but I've been testing out my new stuff on Voluum. If you don't mind these guys hosting your tracking, it's worth a shot. Liking it so far.

How can you guys trust someone else to host your tracking? I honestly can't ever imagine doing that. My campaigns are all about edge, and in 90% my edge is my optimization which can be easily duplicated if you look at tracking data :rolleyes:
 
my advice is to use an hosted service. But should be super-reliable. Hosting the service in your servers may result in many problems if your servers are down. Plus you need to upgrade periodically, check performances, etc...

ClickMeter is a good fit for affiliates since they offers features like advanced link cloaking (includes url encryption); postback conversions, real-time click streaming, fraud detection etc...

for other alternatives just google "link tracking"

I use Voluum and use my own domain unless new accounts don't have this option anymore.

I've tried CPVLab, Prosper, and Improvely.

Everyone has their Pros/Cons about all the tracking software out there.
Personally, I think CPVLab is best..but hearing good things about Voluum
 
I reached out to the owner of improvely to jump on a call and he blew me off... im interested in investing into the tracking space. There are tons of analytics tools for a/b testing and funnel analysis but nothing that does ROI/LTV tracking of media buys for the enterprise.


Voluum seems interesting... anyone else deal with them?
 
We actually just built out a tracking system where you can set permissions, for users. I noticed a lot of the other systems were lacking in this area.
we can set permissions for essentially every function.
also can block them from viewing the profitable campaigns etc.

I'm probably going to start working with beta testers in a few weeks, it's going to be self hosted.

It has some nice features, such as importing offers through api so you don't have to log into 10 different networks to pull links and stuff like that.

voluum doesn't track funnel type traffic yet. Still using bevomedia here also with imobitrax.

I mean sending traffic and tracking through sales funnel.

from imobitrax - Setting up a Path Campaign is almost exactly the same as setting up a campaign with a Landing Page, however it is designed for a user to go through multiple landing pages before reaching an offer. You begin by first naming the campaign, assigning it to a unique group and a traffic source, then adding in your maximum cost per click. You then have the option to pass the tokens as you have in the previous two examples. You are also able to pass custom tokens through your tracking URL which allows you to call them on your landing page with some simple PHP.

from bevo - A Step Campaign is when a user wants to track clicks several pages deep within a sales funnel without LP code

I know CPVlab has this options as well.

If your tracking platform code is hidden(ion cube loader) it doesn't matter if its self hosted or not. there are ways to send data back.
