Anyone willing to help a struggling friend?

What's your friend good at it? If he doesn't want charity, what does he bring to the table? What value can he add to someone who is willing to take the time to help him out?

Also lol @ $10 being expensive for content.

I talk to a guy named Mike who lives in Ohio. He's around 50.

After a few conversations, I find out that he lived in a van until someone helped him move into subsidized housing. Now he has a place, but no money for furniture.

He's living with serious health problems (back, eyes, anxiety), cannot afford medication, and cannot get transportation to his doctor's appointment.

His psychological state is pretty bad. He can't leave his apartment without anxiety symptoms, but he is online a lot and into affiliate marketing, which made me think of this place.

He's too proud to accept my charity but he's willing to work. He tells me he's done some affiliate marketing work before.

If anyone's willing to mentor him or help him in any way, let me know via PM, I'll get you in touch with him. He lives in NE Ohio, has skype and a google voice number.

Even if you can't, but you can arrange transportation to and from his doctors appointment(s), that would be great. I'd love to do it myself, but I'm in NJ. I'll make an effort to go see him around Christmas though.

Thanks guys.

If he is too proud to take your charity, why would he accept mine? It's not my problem if he is stuck in a river of shit. If he wants to come out clean on the other side, your friend is going to need to learn how to swim. Hell he is going to need too want to learn how too swim. If he doesn't have that in him, there is simply nothing anyone can do.

Who pays $10/article?

I would think you'd have to be an expert in your field to get that much.

Agreed. It is definitely not easy to get a steady supply of orders @ $10/article

A lot of daily hustle is needed to keep getting regular orders.. but then you got to hustle for everything bro. Be grateful you have a guaranteed minimum income (welfare) in your country.

If you are happy doing 2-3 articles per day for a living, I would suggest moving to a super cheap small town in Chile, Nicaragua or something

self-righteous bitches eh?

you consider yourself the best of the best, yet were somehow unable to cash in on the easiest cash grab the world had to offer. anyone whos get a pre 2011 join date and isnt a millionaire has failed miserably. just like that guy. different level maybe.

its no joke. you treat seo like its your fuckin universe. you make fun of religion but consider google your omnipotent god. that guy might be more fucked up, but on a very tiny scale. if the internet didnt exist tomorrow, you would be that guy.

"hustle". every single "case study" on this forum is a failure so massive, itd deserve an anti nobel prize.

not a single one of you has earned the right to be that condescending

2-3 articles per day for a living,

Save and buy or build a website - then sell links/articles. Suddenly, that $10 per article is now $25 to $40 (or more) and you can live in a trailer court outside most major cities. No need to move to Nicaragua.

But, I have a feeling that the sacrifice and more importantly, the self control that is needed to build or buy a website is lacking with nearly everyone in this guys situation - at his age.

Too tired to tell whether troll or not..

lol word.

I pay around $35 for 1,000 word article. + Give my team $5-10 bonuses throughout the month randomly. Some articles run me up to $70+, it gets expensive but...

I treat my content team like GOLD... And run my business the right way. In ~2 years I've only had to fire one employee for "cheating" on content. I love building loyalty. You can't do that with $5-10 articles.

Not having to worry about hiring new people, getting sketchy content, or correcting grammer errors, and knowing I can get a TAT of 1 day on a 2,500 word professional and engaging article > *.

I think you are not interpreting what was written correctly.

The way I read it, is that you can't solve people's problems. Not that people with problems deserve to have problems. There is a difference.

Also, I seem to understand that it is a bad idea spending time with people with excessive problems/that are unhappy. They will only bring you down. Spend your time with people who are better off than yourself, they will help raise you up.

You are critiquing a philosophy, when I was ready pragmatic advice.
