Apple iTV

...Oh, wait....

Lesson learned from Google TV: The cable channels locked up all the good shit so there was nothing on at all.

I can't believe apple would make that mistake after Goog so clearly spelled it out for them.

iTV will be a hit. Buy stock, bros.
There are many "streaming boxes" like the Google TV and Apple TV, but as you said, the cable companies aren't going to rollover. It has to happen eventually, though.

I don't believe Apple will be able dominate internet TV.

Unless for some twisted reason they decide to create a TV network, which would make absolutely no sense to me, they will just be improving the Apple TV experience, which doesn't offer an non-hardware exclusive features that other devices can't provide.

They will rack up automatic hardware sales because of the ultra-strong brand loyalty, but it's likely things shape up similar to the way smartphones are now: Apple with a significant portion, but Android/others are still alive.

Exactly why is your site should be taken as a definite authority on device usage matters?

Please, think before posting stupid shit.

Because ~5% of a first world english speaking country visits it monthly. That's a pretty fucking good subsection of the market.

You're comparing a 'primary' device to a 'secondary' device.

That's like saying Motorcycles are a terrible idea because most of the first world english speaking countries drive cars. Also 70 million of anything (plus all the android clones) is a lot.

You are mistaken.

He haz dem first world visitors.

He knows it all.

I bet apple will acquire hulu soon to compliment their itunes library with a massive streaming library. They have more than enough money to do it, and hulu is already partnered/co-owned by all the big networks.

I wonder how the trademarks will work out in the UK?

ITV have been around since 1955

It's already been renamed iPanel. iPanel is also a webserver management software though, I am wondering how this will turn out.

Even if trademarks are kept aside, there's going to be some serious SERP fight for the iPanel software company. Imagine competing against millions of blogs talking about the Apple product.

And yes, inb4 Samsung GalaxyTV

That probably solves the problem - trademarks are category specific, so TV would infringe, web hosting software unlikely to. SEO problems still apply though.

What part of "decline" do you not understand? This is why you suck at IM, you can't even figure out how to interpret graphs.

since you seem to like graphs. Or is your 5% site on a first world country is more accurate than a comscore's analysis on a general news sites?

Also throwing insults on an internet forum accomplishes nothing more than you, making a fool of yourself.

.

Why did you point me to a graph showing that people use tablets during a day in August 2011? What TREND does that show me? Your graph shows me that people use tablets at two different points of the day. You could infer that people are using them from bed, based on the times given. Big fucking woops.

Did you even look at this graph? It states that iPads are the most common tablet. Big fucking woops - do you see where I've stated that iPad's aren't the most popular tablet? That's because I didn't make that claim.

Are you going to keep showing me irrelevant shit, or are you going to prove me wrong that tablet usage is on the decline.

i posted the second graph, because the 1st is is about tablets in general, not iPads.

Are you going to keep showing me irrelevant shit, or are you going to prove me wrong that tablet usage is on the decline.

I don't have to "prove" anything to you.

If you think that tablets are not important, you are a fool and are (going) to have losses because of that. And I am not interested in having a conversation with a fool.

Have a nice day.

What if this Apple TV changed TVs the way the iPad did tablets? Pretty sure 95%+ of the WickedFire members thought the "giant iPod touch" was a terrible idea. You all wanted a workstation with a touch screen and Apple did something completely different. Have most of you apple haters actually used an apple product? Or do you just say it sucks because you're straight?
