Dude... that teacher needs to suck some dick! BAD! Maybe that way she'll be connected to something that's not completely braindead.

Teachers like that just make the rest of us look brilliant!!!

Makes me glad I've have home educated all 5 of my kids (now 24-9 years old), even on my worse days, they are better off at home, they all know how to teach themselves what they want to know! They are not dependent on me or anyone else to teach them!

Thought about going a similar route, but despite how fucked up things are out there I dont want to deprive my kids of any important social skills they might pick up from interacting with others their ages on a daily basis.

It's obvious that this teacher was a moron and had no business being a teacher, but IMO, there are a lot of good teachers out there. Just like anything else, you get good ones and not so good ones.

I live in an area with where the schools have a very good reputation. The biggest difference between this school system and the school system in the area that isn't doing so well, is the people that live there. If the parents don't give a shit, then the kids won't give a shit.

That won't happen, period. There are a LOT of homeschoolers around and they often have a lot of group activities they do. They may have someone that does some art teaching, some that do sports, etc. That is just not a valid reason these days.

edit: They can often still participate in some school activities. Our neighbors hs and one of the boys attends hs for band.

Or you can just send your kids to private school. Personally, if I ever have any kids, I'm going to send them to boarding school. Keep the fuckers out of my house when they're at the annoying teen years. haha

^ I don't know what I would do if I had a child like you. I like to think that's not possible :shudder:
Well you wouldn't know your kid that much, seeing as your sending him to boarding school ;)

Seems like the kid was an arse, just leaving and explaining to the headmaster would be fine.

I had so many teachers like that.. Everyone thinks that teachers in private prep school are better than public school teachers, but it's so far from the truth. If anything they are just a hell of a lot stricter. My public school teachers were laid back and believed in what they taught, while my private school ones just read everything to us.

Funny Shit,

Personally I am thinking military school.

Actually I am getting pissed because I had a similar thing happen to me when I was in the US for a year of Highschool.

I was ordered by a substitute teacher to go fetch him a coke after I finished his physics worksheet in half the time and got unruly.
I refused. He got angry and threatened to "report me". So I told him that yes, he was free to report me to the principal, cause I know what he can do and what not. (He never did.)

Everyone just gasped and looked at me.

Relating this to my girlfriend of the time later in the day(thinking myself quite the revolutionary hero) got me more weird looks and a "you should have just done what he wanted."

Home of the free? Land of the brave? Pshaw!
