Booked the London from the Saturday to the Wednesday. Anyone know if Shawn is handing out free silver passes to WF members or do I've to stump up for one

Don't know if WF is going to doing free ASE passes this year or not but I believe Shawn has been handing them out on twitter: @ affiliatetip.
I just got my flight booked today... still looking into where I'm going to stay. Haven't snagged my pass yet, I was lucky enough to have my old employer cover my pass for ASW in Vegas.
I'm not very active on WF but I lurk in #cakes 24/7. Looking forward to meet more people this time around, barely got to meet a few WFers in Vegas during the conference but didn't know anyone to get the party hook-up.
I'm flying in Friday as well... gonna hit the Sox game and get settled before hopefully linking up with whoever I can.

Shawn - Yes, that should work. As long at the hotel is in Midtown, you should be straight. Otherwise, go Airtran -> LIRR.

Damn Josh... I knew there was something obvious that I was neglecting - Wifi. Got a "superior" room booked at Millennium (that hopefully has wifi.) Seems like I'm a bit of a blacksheep hotel-wise but I figured I'd venture out a bit, a whole 8 blocks. After reading all of this I'm not sure whether to be more pumped about making new contacts or eating great food.

Just glad to hear your making it up there, it's a tough trip to pass up. That hotel looks pretty sweet btw, and the prices are pretty much the same as the Hilton. How long are you staying there?
Hell yeah, glad I'm coming up, bringing the gf along to celebrate our 3 yr anniversary in new york style. Just staying for the actual conference, gotta get back to FL for the Dave Matthews concert in West Palm on Friday.
As far as the hotels concerned, it looks pretty pimp and it's a bit closer to times square. I'd consider it right on the square actually. I'm sure they're all relatively nice though and hopefully there's no real reason, other than convenience, why everyone's staying at the Hilton/London.
FYI: If anyone hasn't booked their hotel yet and is looking for a STEAL check out Millennium. $160 off their regular rates (plus free room upgrade.) I think it works out to like $180/night all inclusive.

Ya, I'm ready to start hearing some party plans, we're only a month out so you'd think the networks would start pushing it. I have high hopes.
Anybody else going to sports stuff while your up there? I'm planning on seeing Yankees/Red Sox at Yankee Stadium, Red Sox/Tigers at Fenway, and maybe the Jets/Rams (pre-season) at the Meadowlands.
