ahhaha ooo yeaaa def we gotta hit it up over there get tattooed by kat von d !!! shes is hotttt

Definitely worth going. I had a blast and it was good meeting some of you guys. I guess I'll have to be more active on here now...

I think it was JDog's wife that I was talking to at the party for a few minutes. If that was her and you guys are really moving to AZ, good luck on the move and welcome to the Phoenix area...

maybe I am a bit different but what I got out of the conference hall for new offers and finding out that a store template for an aff offer I run is not going to get axed like I thought it would. Pepperjam is a great company! Brock who I guess is the number 3 guy there is a blast! He is a lush though and don't expect to get your drink if he offers to buy you one cause he spends the time at parties shitfaced and hitting on the girls! Those guys know how to work hard and play hard!

It was great meeting with everyone and helping to the delinquency of WF members.

The sessions suck at every conference, the real info comes from talking to people and finding out what others can do that compliments or enhances what you currently do. Also you get to make a lot of new friends at every conference that understand what you do and as cool as those you hang out with all the time.

I am sorry some of you didnt get in Caramel due to being under 21, that is going to happen with any event with alcohol and some of you look 12 and probably still get carded for simulac

Hey SEO-Mike,
It was great to meet you too.

And to see you're as friendly in person as you are in the threads.

What I enjoy most about your company is that I can eat the stuff that they'd normally serve to dogs, and have you continue your SEO thread in person.

It's a pity we didn't get to talk more, cos you had early bedtimes.

But perhaps at ASE.

Maybe we can do a mini convention outside of it.
Perhaps at the Hooters or something.

Just don't get caught into a 'What is affiliate marketing' RL thread.
Or even worst, try to explain what SEO is.

Had a couple people ask me if I had to pay my own way to ASW, would it have been worth it. And the answer is an overwhelming YES!!

I can't thank MKrongel enough for the opportunity to attend. I met a lot of WickedFire members and made some new friends. Learned a lot, and got to network with people that I never would have, had I not gone.

Some quick notes:

Best Quote of the conference goes to CeciliaH:

Turns out she did that in 5 months. I think that $50,000 per month gets you out of newbie status and propels you to "baller".

Tallest person there: Lerchmo at 9 feet (maybe not, but he's really tall)

Fun poker partner: Surly - we sat at one of the table games based on poker for about 5 or 6 hours straight and had a blast

Diorex and I had a nice conversation at the Copeac party. That is one person that should really post here more often. Wicked smart and just an all around nice guy. Too bad he's making a ton of money and busy as hell :D

Jon really impressed me with how personable he is. For some reason I thought he would be really shy in person, but that wasn't the case at all. He's super nice and a hell of a networker. He seemed to know everybody there and would take the time to talk them all.

Danielle really is as beautiful as people talk her up to be, MK is one lucky guy. No, I didn't witness Jon sexually harass her, he was a gentleman the few times I saw them chatting it up.

Mike Krongel is still THE man! He knows this game like no other. If you ever get the chance to sit down with him, do it. Thanks for the help Mike!

Chrislingle, what can you say about chrislingle...Some of his first words to me when I met him were "Have you met any asshats yet?", my response "Only you, Chris". I think he saw that coming. Great guy, lots of fun.

DruSam was also a great meet. He's exactly as I pictured him: nice guy, super smart, well spoken and a lot of fun.

I_Like_Cock: what can I say about ILC? What you see here is not necessarily what you get. Class act, even though he was sweating alcohol all weekend. Looks a lot like Phil Hellmuth. Sorry, cockman, had to be brought up. :D

Brandon doesn't look as much like Conan O'Brien as Jon would have you believe, although the description is accurate enough that I could pick him out of a crowd. Oh yeah, and he got to see Hoff outside of Paris (I believe) but was too pussy to go and ask for an autograph or picture. At least that's what Jon said. Another super nice guy that I didn't get to spend much time chatting up. Oh well, I'll corner him at ASE and we'll sit down.

Got to spend some time with AndrewWee, super blogger. For some reason, I had imagined Andrew to be a reserved, quiet one. Wrong! Andrew will talk your ear off if you give him a chance. That's a good thing, because he has something intelligent to say.

Mill - now that's a guy that has something to say. I think we stood around the registration area just jawing it up for close to a half hour. Dan was there and Surly, but neither one got a word in edgewise. Mill's probably the only person that can gab as much and as fast as me. (ask anyone that was there, I jabber a lot)

<edit>
Jdog (sorry, told you I was tired), exactly as I imagined. Great guy, very personable. Had the chance to sit down and chat a couple times. Probably the most genuine people I met. Oh yeah, fuck you too bud! :D
</edit>

I also got to meet Kaveman, PlanetAndrea, Rick, engaged, Saadh, DanNicol, ExEnigma, and many others that my poor, tired brain can't recall at this moment. If I forgot to mention you, it's nothing personal, the synapses just are not firing right this morning.

All in all, the conference was everything I hoped it would be and more. If you're serious about kickstarting your business you need to be at ASE. Don't think of it as a vacation, sure you'll have fun, but if you go in with a plan and some goals you will really get a LOT out of it.

Pics of ASW will be in my blog tonight. I'd post them here, but there are too many. So, I'll just put up a couple.

~Mike~

Mike,
Thanks for hosting us at the Caramel.

That was a great networking session and it was about 11 when I left (yes, very late, accordingly to chrislingle's barometer of my sleep schedule).

Re: The Caramel and the underaged crowd.

No worries, I'd heard DruSam's driving ambition is to succeed at affiliate marketing and buy out the Bellgagio.

Perhaps we'd have Alaskan King Crab legs in the caramel when the new King returns.

so when is the next big meet up!!...I'll make sure to make it out...

whats better than becoming rich and drunk at the same time!!

I was joking - chill :)

Okay, cool. I was worried I offended you. I have a bad habit of doing that unintentionally.

Andrew - I actually had a super late bedtime in Vegas, but I ducked out of things early because the noise and crowds really get to me. So, I would go chill in the room where it was quiet and write notes. Then I'd come out of the room a few hours later and go chill at Nosh on the far side of the casino and have a chicken salad sandwich. I think I had about 10 of those things over the course of the conference. Cheap and tasty ($4.95).

Mike, good to hear that.

As long as everyone enjoy themselves, whether it was eating Sundays or doing whatever gets it up for you.

Just in case anyone is wondering...
I did get to eat my Ghiradelli hot fudge sundae.
And some somewhat stale Krispy Kremes...

Not I only need to hit a couple of Costcos, Rosses, Fry's, Best Buy have some biscuits n gravy, chicken fried chicken, mud pie and it'll be mission accomplished.
