They have 300% tax rate on alcohol, so they pay $10 for 2 deciliters of beer...

Ah i could rock Pizza right now. I have cheesecake instead.
Made some brownies as well.

As for christianity, pfft. It started as a Cult of Jupiter!
I wonder where their ideas came from, hmmmm.

Big bearded fellow sitting on a throne: GOD or ZEUS?
Son of the almighty ruler, most kick ass person in Christian writing: JESUS or HERACLES?
And you gotta admit that the fall of LUCIFER is pretty similar to the fall of HEPHAESTUS!

Ragh!

I remember doing some traveling in the late 90's and I was staying at an international hostel in Miami. There was a guy from Norway spending a couple weeks and he spent the whole time DRUNK. I mean consuming booze from morning until night non-stop, fall down drunk. His room was like a fully functioning bar w/ all kinds of booze. He was so used to spending exorbitant amounts on liquor in Norway, that he was like a kid in a candy store w/ cheap booze here.

If anyone wants Richard Dawkin's The God Delusion in audiobook format, shoot me a PM and I'll give you a rapidshare link. And by "give you a rapidshare link" I mean that I most certainly will *not*, because that's piracy and piracy is bad, mmkay. :smokin:

The only problem with not believing in a supreme being is the fact that Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and many other "great" minds believe in a supreme being. Most of their beliefs come about due to spending their life in science (especially physics and not enough time to explain how they came to those conclusions through science).

So my dilemma is: Should I go the route of the regular Joe Blow Lefty and hold strong to the atheist belief or should I consider to believe in a supreme being due to the fact that some of the most important and brilliant minds to ever walk the earth believe in a supreme being?

ummm...I think I will continue to believe!

^^Example of the right side of the flow chart.^^

Actually the left side of the flow chart that I assume is where you believe you belong is how Einstein and company to came to the conclusion that their is a supreme being.

Most people that believe in a "God" are touted by the left as narrow minded. I have come to the conclusion that those people that claim themselves atheist are the ones that are closed minded.

I do not believe that is correct at least about Einstein if I remember correct. I looked him up in wikipedia and it says this about his beliefs. I guess I always like to research things before just taking them as is.

The question of scientific determinism gave rise to questions about Einstein's position on theological determinism, and even whether or not he believed in God. In 1929, Einstein told Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein "I believe in Spinoza's God, who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world, not in a God Who concerns Himself with the fate and the doings of mankind."[50] In 1950, in a letter to M. Berkowitz, Einstein stated that "My position concerning God is that of an agnostic. I am convinced that a vivid consciousness of the primary importance of moral principles for the betterment and ennoblement of life does not need the idea of a law-giver, especially a law-giver who works on the basis of reward and punishment."[51]

So you only believe in a supreme being because Einstein does?

I used to be a leftest sheep as well. Many years of studying the theories of these scientist have lead me to believe that their HAD to be a beginning or a supreme source.

EDIT: I'm done. I have been swept up in these threads before and I don't have time today. I am $300 from my $1000 a day goal and I have work to do!!!
EDIT2: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
