Anyone into Autobiographies? What's your fave?
I have around 20 in my small library. Different actors, musicians, and couple businesses (how they began, their history etc.)
One of my fave 's is: Brando : Songs My Mother Taught Me (1994)

But the key is to able to deliver beyond expectations, on your word.
One highlight from his career was his involvement in Apocalpyse Now. Oh, the termoil he put poor director Francis Ford Coppolla through, haha
In a nutshell (if my memory serves correctly). Francis was at a loss on who could play the pivital role of Col Kurtz - after many attempts - Brando agreed to 3.5 Million for a month of his time. (in advance and this is 1975)
Brando arrived 2 years late, with no rehearsal, no idea for character, no lines, nothing. Shaved his head, quickly absorbed the vibe and let the cameras roll as he improvised everything on the spot. When he was tired or a little dry - he'd say, "I'm done for the day - we'll continue when I'm ready again" The final result? Classic Flick (and it grossed 150M worldwide box office sales)
Anyway, the book is filled with entertaining and inspiring stories from someone who is capable of entering their element on their own will and terms.
