I know most of you are soccer haters, but you gotta love how Dani Alves responded to someone throwing a banana at him during a game in Spain.

It's very confusing. They call "soccer" - "foot" "ball" because of importance of the "foot" touching the "ball."

In american "football," it is a penalty to touch the "ball" with a "foot" intentionally.

I'm an NFL fan, but let's be real. When the rest of the world calls something "football" where the entire game is kicking a ball with their foot... just duh.

btw 2 of Alves's passes later on ended up being own goals by Villareal defense, so later he said thanks for the Villareal fan who threw the banana which gave him energy to give those passes.

Or soccer is a sport that appeals, and actively markets itself to, the lowest common denominators in human society.

It's a sport played by ignorant cowards, supported by ignorant cowards.
