You prob have a point - while some "racism" may be a legit response to subversive governmental policies, soccer is a sport that can be played cheaply amongst poor (and therefore less educated and more ignorant) populations. Which helps explain why it's so universally popular around the world. All you need is a small open area and makeshift goals. No special surface, no special equipment necessary.

Racism towards individuals is never an acceptable action in the face of government policy.

Attack the policy and the policy makers, not people who had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that your government instituted a policy that they shouldn't have/is foolish/is racist/whatever.

What you suggested above is the equivalent of going to a farm and punching a cow because McDonald's made you fat.
