What I don't understand is how this guy just doesn't manage to get the kind of cred that John Chow or Shoemoney get... I mean, he's doing the same things they do, with a touch of Rich Jerk

So two quick questions:
1) Why did no one take him down at ASW?

This is hilarious. Just yesterday, I was browsing Elance trying to decide on a budget for some simple marketing tasks I want to outsource, and I saw bannerblindness' profile pop up as a bidder. Sure enough, the profile lists BannerBlindness.com and comes with all the douche-y false bravado you'd expect. A quick site:elance.com search pulls up a few examples:

Their main profile and a list of sites they've worked for/on: Banner Blindness: We are a phenomenal online marketing company. | Elance

Declined bid for D-sys-web lists bannerblindness.com and a bunch of other sites bannerblindness claims to have worked on (interesting, given that Elance has rules against people having multiple profiles): Elance: Declined Bids

I guess that's one provider I can rule out immediately, should he decide to bid on my projects.

Uhm, not to mince words on the legal side or anything- but you can't go after anyone for trademark infringement if you haven't registered or applied for a trademark. Nothing shows up for any combination of the business or his name on TESS.

Okay, so I think bannerblindess wins as the most ridiculous site ever. He seems to want $5 mil, which he says he'll turn into $100 million. That's the craziest thing I've heard in a long time, he's such a tool. You also have to pay $20k to come in and observe him work or some shit.
