Benefit of ASW for beginner/intermediate aff marketers?

There's a LOT of places giving out free affiliate summit passes.

You were right. I was a half second to slow in getting a free Gold Pass! Made it to the confirmation but it stopped i guess because someone was a little quicker.

You can watch the sessions online after the event, so the only thing you're missing out on is the networking if you don't go.

Starting with ASW 2009, the videos aren't going to be publicly available - they will only be available to attendees who register for Gold or Platinum passes.

We don't plan to sell them - the reason we started filming the sessions was to make them available to attendees to who a conflict and wanted to see a session they missed.

I would go in the drop of a hat if the price weren't so expensive. I looked over all the info about ASW and it all looks very cool...but can anyone give me some specific examples of a benefit they took from ASW? something to make it worth the price.

i get that contacts and meeting people are very important...but is it really worth the amount?...not trying to be cheap here...just dont have a grand to spend quite yet.

Just take the plunge. You'll come back with a lot of ideas that when implemented, will make you your money back, plus some. Read the guide in my signature for a good overview of how to do a Vegas convention on the cheap.

When I started AM in Sept, I told myself I was going to make a proper run at this by taking risks and not half assing it. If you aren't willing to loose a grand or so on this conf, you have to ask yourself if this business is for you.
