Best Business Bank Account?

Lifelong Citibank Business customer here. Couldn't be happier with the level of global accessibility, tiered levels of security, and if you get to know your personal banker real well you'll get that small bank feel.

Kinda depends what you're looking for. For me the big issue was max daily spend on personal and biz debit cards. Many banks limit the biz debit cards to like 3k a day or something. Also, you trying to avoid fees? So many variables. You need to put in more info about what you want if you want real advice.

Neg vote for Citibank. Opened a business account with them years ago for my web development biz. A couple months later they closed it without notice and said they don't serve businesses in the "entertainment" field. I said wtf you talking 'bout? Contacted corporate headquarters and got back a form letter that said they can close any account they want for whatever reason they want - it's right there in the terms of service.

Have had several personal accounts with them over the years. At least 3 times they tried to slip in a new monthly fee. When I called them on it they said they changed the terms of my account - without notice. I said no, not accepting that, take it out and close that account. Down to my last account with them. Stopped using their ATM cards long ago due to 3% foreign transaction fee.

Perhaps one of the sleaziest banks. Just my personal experience. YMMV.

HSBC is the best in terms of fees. No wire fees for international or domestic up to 5/month, free ach, and lots of other benefits. Also they are all over the world, but not that popular in the US. However they closed my account one day for no reason which really sucked. Still for the year I used it I probably saved over $200/month in random fees I was being charged at chase.

Checking, HSBC Business Banking

Chase is also good with iphone check deposits so no wasting time at the bank, but again they screw you on fees for everything. Citi is a decent option as well because of cheaper fees than chase, but i guess it just depends on what you are looking for because sounds like they find other ways to get you.

Boa worst bank of all time. Hsbc charges fees no thanks on that. I assume ur just talking about bankin (not processing) ur best option and traveling options is charles swabb hands down. Find me a better deal.

Wells Fargo has never done me wrong. Always a hot business banker, no ridiculous fees, and no hassles. You guys might be wanting more perks, but I couldn't care less. They don't bug me and don't mess up. Been with them since 2005.

But if I were to do it again, HSBC would get a strong look

it depends really what you're situation is. If you're living in the us and don't travel out I would say chase paymentech is your best bet for quality and fees. if you travel out a lot and need access to money charles swabb free atms cash anywhere can't be beat. If you're looking for just a free business account go to your local credit union.
Again depends on the situation, biz, and if you travel. I have been through most of the merchants and banks listed above just fyi. Good luck what youre searching for.

Bank of America has the best online interface, and easiest wires/ACH, bar none. If you have a business advantage account, the following are free:

- incoming wires
- certified checks
- quickbooks in-app access

HSBC has always been my first choice for their reach and excellent service. Citibank is the most fucked up bank. Fuckers once lost my check in transit and didn't even bother to tell me for 1 month. The whole payment took 4 months to settle.
