Godaddy....however when you are going to register a domain just also look for other registrars ( especially if you are going to register a non .com domain name) sometimes you can get it much cheaper than the Godaddy.

GoDaddy sucks donkey balls. I'm losing a 2004 PR'd penis pill site because - I have a link to a site that sells viagra without a prescription.

A little warning first would have been nice. They notify me about everything else under the sun. I may actually have to 1. read their TOS, and 2. be awake when I do.

And yeah, they pulled the $75 administrative fee BS to keep the site and transfer it from GD.

Moniker is awesome, not many people use them but their prices are always in line with anyone else and so are the renewals. Been with them for a few years now and they have always had good customer service even before they were bought out and taken over by the bigger company.

I am holding most of my domains on Godaddy because I am buying them on Godaddy auctions.

But godaddy has some good and bad things as all domain registrars (I have domains on many registrars)

The thing is lack of security, It is easy to hijack your domain names on you account. And rising popularity even increases chance that our account will be stolen and this really suck.

I have been using Godaddy for a while with no issues.
It does not hurt that I manage over 1000 domains so I am a VIP.
(you have to have more then 300 to be a VIP)

When you are a VIP at GoDaddy you get cool discounts and folks call you if there are any issues.

Thanks

Kevin

These polls don't show much since some of the registrars are used by so many people compared to others. I bet many people did not even hear some of the names. Thats why GD and NC are so high, but it does not mean they are better than rest of them. Can not get accurate results here :)

I use namecheap to buy all my new domains because of the perks you get like free whois and ssl but for aged domains i usually buy them from godaddy auctions and after that I transfer them to namecheap which is much easier to manage.

Also i dont know why namecheap name servers or ip change takes about hour or 2 max to update unlike godaddy and other companies that take 6 hours or even day or 2.
