i vote for removal of godaddy off the fuckin list. they dont need to make something so simple, so complex (the control panel). Dam site gets confusing at times.

I'm with you, GoDaddy has a shitty control panel, takes long to sort out things, the only good thing about it is that you can click the "get code" and move to NameCheap

10 years with godaddy not a single problem and everytime I need a domain I just type "godaddy discount coupon" into google but don't use their aff links just copy paste the codes LOL

While the thread is bumped... Namecheap is now doing credit card auto renew on file. Jeez that is some wicked technology, can't believe they got it done before 2035!

Anyway happy with them. They gave me a good coupon that only works for my account after I was bitchin about stuff one time.

domainsbot.com is a pretty neat research tool... and if you find a domain you'd like to buy it'll give you a wide array of registrars to choose from.

When I first started I used Godaddy simply because they were so popular and mainstream. I recently switched to Namecheap though and have been using them for all my domains.

For bulk domain registrations Godaddy is great. Regarding what you said, yess such things can be annoying but if they are mentioned in the TOS, its nothing you can do.

They are fine for general domains. But if you do anything that breaks their own terms they will fine you. I tell people if you do marketing/email marketing to a domain do not have with godaddy.

Used nothing else then Godaddy for the last couple of years. Most people use Godaddy, so its pretty easy to sell them eventually.

I had multiple domain names registered with NameCheap.com, Godaddy.com, and Netfirms. Among them I found the best service from Namecheap. I like them because they offer many deals and discounts on domain names just like GoDaddy.
