Best Laptop for PPC?

Mac's are by far the best computers on the market. What software are you using for PPC?
 


I just got a Mac, first time i've owned one(got the 15"MBP).

Don't think I'd use a PC again except as a second computer.

I personally feel that both PC's and Mac's have their place in the computing world. The type of computing you do will usually influence whether a Mac or PC is better suited to "your" computing needs.

With that being said, here is a Link for a discussion of what PC users can do that Mac users seem to not be able to do.

Whether a mac can do it or not lets face it, it can really do anything. It's up to a developer to port over a program to mac or vice versa. To be honest, all I can ever see myself using a PC again is to play PC games. But I have no time for games so I don't see myself using one in the near future. That being said, I do have other PC's running windows 7 for xrumer, but regardless anything a PC can do a Mac can do the same (if ported over). OSX is based off linux, a lot of people still use linux and prefer it more than windows.

What would be neat is if more marketing tools start using Adobe AIR. Market Samurai started using it which is neat and allows for it to work on OSX.
 
Anyone notice the skull in the second photograph? Wonder if that was intentional (probably).
 
Macbook Pro ftw - FUck your Windows.

There really aren't any Windows only tools that you need to do PPC. Yea... some might say Speed PPC, but I just use a .csv template and the Adwords Editor.

Not only that, OS X software is amazing... so get a Mac. For everything Windows, VMWare Fusion.

I have a 1999 Celeron 433 MHz with 64 MB RAM & 4 GB hard disk with Windows 98 & is perfectly capable of doing PPC & AM stuff.

Don't understand what OP means by "best laptop for ppc". Fuck - any laptop can do PPC perfectly.

as long as you can open Firefox and spread-sheets any stone-age laptop/computer is fin until you are balling.
 
My cheap-ass Toshiba Satellite that I paid $600 for is doing just fine. The only crappy thing is that the battery life is shit, so I can't really do work outside of the house unless I know I can use a power outlet.
