Best place for leisure - Puerto Rico
Best place for work - Germany
Honorable mention to Al Asad AB Iraq, best chow in the middle east!

Janaic, by virtue of being from Humboldt County, I dub thee fucking white trash (Im from and currently live in Sonoma County)

There's white trash everywhere. I'm a country girl, you can even call me a hick, haha. :D

I used to off of the Avenue of the Giants, and it's absolutely breath taking. :D Nothing more beautiful than the red wood trees.

Janaic, I consider myself a hick, considering I was raised on a ranch I think its a fair judgement to call myself a hick, at one point or another. You guys in Humboldt and Lake county are a whole other breed.

I have to admit, the highway from Eureka to Crescent City through Klamath is gorgeous - My view was then spoiled by the rusty trailers on the side of the road...

But, at the very least, your not from Lake County...

EDIT: The road out between Willits and Eureka is fuckin scary, those little towns/groups of people like Peircy are just fuckin sketchy...

LMAO, nice perspective. Yah, I don't come from "white trash" families. Most of my family own thousands of acres between shelter cove and Eureka. Although, I'm from a small town called Garberville, and it's probably the cutest town ever. :D Maybe I'm just partial. I'm sure you know where Garberville is.

Just got back from Antigua (small island in the Caribbean) Loved it!

EAT THAT STEVE URWIN!

Egypt is interesting for the pyramids and the history.

Alaska has some awesome wilderness areas to check out.

Vegas is the best place to go big and party.

Overall I haven't been to that many cities outside the US.

I assume you don't mean Oregon but all those cities are in the state so I'm kinda curious.

Damn - never read so many fucking boring travel destaination.

Koh Samui is for pedophiles. Vegas is for white haired grandmas. Australia I will do when I can't move cos of arthritis. Europe is like watching a fish tank while mainlining Valium.

They're "vacation" spots. Great to catch up on some sleep and nail a 20 year old backpacker or two, but when I want to travel, I look a little beyond what I can get at home.

I highly recommend Australia. Sydney is one of the most clean and amazing cities in the world. While you're there, head north and check out the Gold Coast area -- awesome beaches. Further north is another city called Cairns where the Great Barrier Reef is located.

Walking on this beach in Cairns was surreal.
