Anyone have tips for making tincture?
I have been cooking with pot for years. They key thing is to preparing the buds in something fatty.
THC is soluble in fat. So what you can do is boil a pound of butter in a big pot of water with the pot......let it boil for several hours. Then you pour it through cheese cloth into a plastic container which you put into the freezer to freeze. The bud-butter will separate from the water and you can cook with it.
That said, MY FAVORITE WAY it to take a good half pound of clippings and put it in a gallon jug full of olive oil. Let it sit for several months and then make things like salads that will blwo your freaking MIND.
I suggest to add some mushrooms as well to make the salad more complete! :rasta:
