I really don't care about it either, but it's fun to throw a few bucks on some random numbers for a superfecta bet.

(that's the bet where you pick 4 horses, in order).
For the derby, it cost you $6 to make the bet, and if you picked the right numbers, the payout was $58,000 something. And that number was low, because the favorite won. I think I remember the year that Gaicamo (can't be bothered to check the spelling on that) won, it was many hundreds of thousands for the correct superfecta
For the preakness, because the field was small, and Big Brown was so heavily favored, the superfecta only got you about $1,300 or so. lol!
So, when the big races come around, if you have somewhere to place the bet, just go and put a few bucks on 4 random numbers, screw trying to pay attention and "pick" the winners. Just 4 random numbers.. if it hits, lots of $$$.
