The big advantage of snus over chew is that snus is spitless. Also, like onkelmicha pointed out, the real Swedish snus is way better and you can get it at most smoke shops. I prefer the pouches over the loose stuff because it's less messy. The Swedish snus also has more nicotine than the Camel or Marlboro snus here inn the US.

Obviously safer than cigarettes for the "respiratory system", but has twice the amount of nicotine of a regular cigarette.
