Biz Ops are dead? Now what ?

The real money in biz opps isn't in the rebill, it's in the coaching leads.

Please elaborate on "coaching leads" ??

People sell the buyer data and the leads on page one in to bus opp coaching programs for $100's of dollars sometimes thousands. Those who really make money in this model sell coaching leads, those who dont will never make any money because the online products suck balls and people cancel after the trial or first bill.

Some also rent their list to telemarketers, and direct mailers for added revenue.

Someone said dont talk about fight club but even if someone gave step by step instructions 90% of people would still fail

^^^

Straight sale biz opp can bring some great money for coaching leads. If your model is set on 7-14 day trial, it's not worth all that much to a floor. $ amount for leads is set on quality, just like anything else. Just takes a small test.

Buyer data needs to include card data, full 16 digits, as well so make sure you're storing that. Paypal won't work for merchant processing in this case.

Structure for a shorter trial period and if you need helping selling the leads, I'll take my cut and sell them for you.

Keeping the thread alive : )

Publishers are KING.

I am laying it on the table for anyone interested. Per my previous
post (above), I have taken my swing at being a full on legit advertiser.
The allure of making $$$ on monthly rebills was enough to sink countless
hours creating 2 biz opp products.

I have realized what I am good at or at least enjoy - and that is creating
the product. My DIY attitude hasn't worked - so I'm looking for anyone interested
in partnering on both of my "ready to go biz opp products".

After finding myself second guessing different strategies:
Bring in the traffic:
• PPC
• Mailers
• Search
• Ad networks / Affiliate

CRM, Merchants, Fraud
• Example, Is TMS really worth it?

I don't have the expertise needed to push this thing over the top, and making
the most $$$ out of it.

The good news is that the product is really good - this is why I keep coming back to it.

It has real original content, and a good value to the end user. I am thinking of pushing it as a straight sale - but I figured I would first throw it out there as a partnership opportunity.

Does anyone want to run with it?

If so, please PM me or email me at: support (at) thestartingpointe.com

The Product includes:

1. The Starting Pointe: Over 50 Ways to make money from home
a. Startup Guide: 42 pgs

b. 50 business from home: 60 pgs (i.e - tutoring, summer camps, scrap booker, party rentals, yoga from your garage, locksmith, catering, carpet cleaning, hairstylists, etc.)

c. Gallery: Over 20 custom design templates for business cards, letterhead. Excel file budgets and worksheets, advertising headline ideas, etc.

d. Resource Guide: Over 50 great resources listed, Direct Mailers, Stock Photography, etc.

e. Glossary: Over 100 "business terms" defined

2. Internet Riches: Learn how to use the Internet to make money from home
a. Over 45 pages (+ screen shots) on how to make money with: Twitter, Facebook, Google, Yahoo, eBay, and Amazon.

I am definitely willing to design mailers, change landing page, website, etc.

I applaud your effort and it seems that you are really committed. That's why it pains me to write this: offering people 50 ways to make money from home is probably not the best angle. Why? The "Paradox of Choice" - when faced with too many choices people will make none. Also, your product comes across as a thin introduction to different opportunities rather than a "business-in a box".

What you need to do is take one of those ways, expand on it, give it a VERY catch name (i.e. your hook) and present it as a:

"Turn-key, step-by-step system that anyone can copy to bring in a consistent $3,000, $5,000, even $10,000 per month of passive income - even if... you know nothing about computers and you flunked high school English. A business-in-a-box that works for you 24x7x365 - even when... you're asleep or on vacation on the beach."

That's what a biz-op seeker wants (lots of money with little to no effort) the same way people want to be skinny by popping a pill a day, sitting on their fat lazy asses and eating Twinkies.

Give the people what they want and the money will follow :)

+1 for megatabbers, I would definitely follow any advice that he is willing to throw your way when it comes to your sales page.

On another note, sorry for an offtopic hijack but got back to square one about 2 months ago and realized none of my shit would convert because of how shitty my copy was. Didn't even know how deep the art of sales copy really goes. Megatabbers I have read and dissected countless old school threads on writing copy and making shit convert and I have got to say that you have offered some really good fucking advice. Would love to sts sometime about copy.

I took a look at the site, and you really need a good professional copywriter because the site is...well let's say...uninspiring. It really is just a bunch of graphics and request for an email address. Not trying to rain on your parade but giving my 2 cents..

Agreed with this.

My other thoughts...

Directly from your lander:

- You wrote "Evaluate your idea"... These people don't have ideas. Those that have ideas probably aren't buying make money online books. So assuming your typical buyer is not creative, has no ideas and just wants to make money, you should take the angle megatabbers talked about "Let me give you my PROVEN TO WORK business plan you can apply TONIGHT... "

- "can your idea make money?"... no no no.. if I were your typical bizopp buyer I wouldn't want real facts. They want the dream. Give them the dream. "I'll guide you by the hand on how to use MY business model to make money... and NO, this can't EVER get saturated!" or something along those lines...

- "name it brand it, design it" again too dry. You need to tell them you will teach them how to come up with a name people will remember, you tell them you'll give them a design package they can change to their wishes. "It's easy, it works and no almost work" angle

I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea. Find what's their deepest desire (easy money without any work or hard thinking/learning) and give it to them in a shiny package.

Any suggestions on biz opp coaching programs that buy biz opp coaching leads?

megatabbers: I appreciate the help. I've been waiting for someone to tell me - hey change the hook, etc. I will get after it. Per mpbiz, I spent a couple hours hashing through some old megatabbers posts... good info, especially re: ebooks and clickbooth. That one's a keeper.

metrikcap: don't worry about raining on my parade - this is why I am here. The homepage is a little "corporate" and stale on purpose to show merchant providers, and protect the landing "sales" pitch (prices, etc.) in case it changes when testing.
Is this a good idea or should I change the homepage to a landing page?

Agree with megatabbers and JoseArmando -- selling what people really want converts a lot better than what you think they want.

The closer you can get to a 'toolkit' (just plug this in and you're making money) the better it can convert: templates, software, ready made sites, ready written articles...etc. People don't want to work things out for themselves.

And a true biz opp is often blind copy (doesn't exactly say what it is) and really sells the dream. Honestly, this is a broad market, but is the bottom end of the market, it's pretty seedy. The higher quality your product and the less you use ridiculous promises in your copy - you'll get less customers but you'll have better customers who are really interested in what you're selling and more likely to buy your high priced back end offers.
