Fuck, they could do a week by a week or a month by month on techniques to monetize a blog and I am certain they will get less cancellations. Why is he a sucker. Honestly I think that is what the biz-opps need to offer. You do acai and get a bottle every month. Why can't these Biz-opps offer something to keep the retention rates a little higher.

I have never bought anything like this. Including PPC-Coach. I am just saying why don't more of these offers give a reason for membership rather than bill for basically nothing.

Now PPC Coach is a diff't concept, you are buying a TOOL which helps you do things. So you mean why not sell a Biz Opp tool that the person subscribes to? Ok, I'll buy that as an idea.

While I see your point, I think it can be done better...

12 Ways to Make $100 per day... They get a new method every month and the sales pitch could be to make $1000 per day within 12 months.

Each month they could rehype the info they are going to get the next month.

The problem is that most of these advertisers aren't marketers themselves, they dont know how to sell their product properly.

I thought grants were an even worse rebill than bizopps. Did you really need a monthly membership on "how to get a gov't grant"? Do the rules change with the government that often where you would potentially need monthly updates? At least with bizopps, you could provide a series of training starting from beginner/novice and if the subscriber keep on payin, you could go all the way to advanced.

The best I've seen lately are the "Google Grant" offers which are a purely awesome combo (I'm earning $8 epc on this btw) . Get on it boys.

I didnt mean it as a get rich quick scheme. I meant it as every week, month, whatever you are charging for, provide something valuable.
So month 1 would be - build a blog and get it ranked
month 2 - add adsense and build more blogs
month 3 - affiliate with ebay/amazon and social bookmarking
month 4 - paid traffic
etc...

Taking people step by step through this would provide more value than what the re-bills currently offer. You are actually giving them something to pay for. The success that people get from this would be completely up to them. Granted, they could find all that information for free but look at it as a service charge for putting it all in one place and structuring it.

As far as the business model, re-bills across all niches are shady. I mean look at acai and colon. Some of these bill $70+ for a monthly supply. The same thing could be bought at a supermarket for $15 if not less. This topic isnt really about ethics though so thats another conversation

They do actually change fairly regularly, depending on where you are.

In Australia I know you could get a grant for installing solar panels in your home until a couple weeks ago (something like that), and you can get a $14 000 grant from the gov for buying your first home, but that gets cut down to 10.5k at the end of September and then 7k at the end of December.

And those are just the examples I know of off the top of my head...

Dude, you're crazy. I bet 95% of our customers are people who have no fucking clue how to do anything like that. Building a blog? You know how scary that sounds to the typical surfer? And for the 5% of your audience who knows how to build a blog and is looking to skip right to step 4 and make the money right away? You lost them, too.

There is no golden carrot dangling over their heads any longer. People want to make money NOW. They don't want a step by step program that if anything, looks MORE fraudulent because now theyre thinking "Shit, this is a lot of work and I have to pay monthly to do it. I see no paycheck in site for a LONGGG time"

Now smart people know that designing something that makes money DOES take time, and would involve your steps. I think you'd lose all the spontaneous "just send me the Google CD, let me give this a try" traffic, which is prob. 90% of your sales or more, and get 2-3% geeks and people who have a solid understanding of what's needed to really be a success. And you wont survive oin 2-3%.

Impulse buys by stupid people. It's the target market. Accept it or move on.

Sure a super indepth PPC-coach style program is not going to fly with the sort of people we're selling this stuff to but at least provide something of value.

People are so lazy when it comes to actually doing something, look at the millions Gym memberships that people never use. "oh I go after xmas" or "I'll get fit for next summer". I bet you could hand out a ready made website making $100+/mo and 90% of the people wouldn't even both to upload it let alone improve it to start making real money.

I was just providing an example of a way to give the rebills value to get more retention out of the customers and provide more legitamacy to the industry.

They could combine the immediate google cd with the new monthly steps. This would get the impulse buyers and then keep them around. I dont care what they do. My point was to show that the advertisers can retain more customers by providing something of value instead of charging monthly for the same product.

Youre right though. It is easier for me or anyone else to say how this can be done than to actually get it right so that everyone is in a win win situation. Its also easier for advertisers to put out a shit product and keep charging idiots who dont read the terms.

I fucking hate affiliates snagging my images/copy only to double-sell and ruin perfectly good offers with horrible re-bill rates due to this nonsense. It worked fine in Acai/Colon where the idiot customer got 2 different products, it doesn't here where they're signing up for 2-3 things anyway and now seeing multiple charges and getting 4-6 memberships which is just plain confusing/spooky.

Exactly. I think a lot of people promoting bizopps don't realize is that you're not in the business of selling information or tools. You're selling a lifestyle, an ideal, a dream. If you're pushing bizopps with your flog, you're selling the American Dream, a chance to escape the rat race and be free. An ebook about AdSense is not the American Dream.

The problem with this formula is that I live, eat, , shit, sleep, smoke, drink and breathe AM, and they didn't or weren't willing to do the same. They just saw my paycheques and thought they could easily pull it off but couldn't.

It's like they say with AM, the barrier to get "over the wall" is extremely high (i.e. the learning curve), but once you get over to the other side, it's golden. That's the beauty of this industry, if it were that easy to get into, then everybody would be making money and there would be no real ballers. I agree that this is what the bizopp industry is selling, and that's the American Dream.
