Blizzcon 2010 - missed the tickets again !!



Blizzcon is one of the only cons I've ever been interested in attending, but I live on the East Coast. A few of WoW friends got free admission and roundway tickets a few years ago for being in the top PvP (Arena) brackets and they all said it was really cool. TeamLiquid usually has good coverage of it if you're into SC2. Last resort you can buy a virtual ticket or just find a free stream of one.
 
I am into all the blizzard game their games are the best game in the market as simple as that - wow - best mmo , SC2 or SC best Strategy games and diablo best RPG !! i am not interested in virtual ticket for 2 reason 1. on every blizzcon blizzard usually give beta cd key for their up coming games which would be in this case the new wow expansion and diablo 3.
and 2. i want to experience the whole thing while i am there.
never had the chance to go there - i used to live in israel and tickets from israel to usa and all that would of been costy now i live in USA and i can go to do what i wanted to do the past 5 years But the fucking blizzard and my stupidity leaded me to check the wrong places for blizzcon 2010 and i lost the opening and now can't buy tickets
 
I don't think they have announced any new WoW expansion yet. I'm not even sure there will be another. Supposedly, all of the top tier developers have been taken off of WoW and have been working on a new MMO, Cataclysm might be the death of WoW and the Warcraft universe. Basically, taking everything they learned from WoW in order to make the ultimate cash cow. I have a friend in game development who got to take a tour of Blizzard HQ who claims he saw a "Project Hydra" section...a trustworthy friend but still take with a grain of salt.

Also...I think Gamestop is offering Diablo 3 beta keys with preorders. Might want to look into that. Also make sure to opt into any betas with your Battle.net account.
 
Took 5 years of mine - and no i wouldnt do it again and trying to stay clear of it everyday .. its worse then drugs .. in these 5 years - i knew ONLY fucking wow nothing else no personal live no sex no nothing --- i had a GF back then - she would come 3 hours from haifa in israel to ashkelon to visit me whaaap whaaap me wowing like a moron she has her boobs outside and me --- still playing . needless to say after 1 year and 2 months she dumped me still trying to understand how in the name of JC Or moses .. did she stay with me for so long ...
 
I play WoW... when I'm not making money. As long as you put other things in your life before a fuckin video game, you're golden. Sadly, it sucks some people in completely. I play in my spare time. Real life things and clients always, always, ALWAYS come first, but...

... Gladiator s3, s4. Sup now? lol

Also, no more Blizzcon tickets that I know about. I'm sure as it gets closer they will release a few more (they always do).
 
well your right about that but - i never could keep personal live before it i would go days without sleeping and days without eating just playing the fucking games - molten core days was was a complete disaster for me - my parent thought something is wrong with me and i need a shrink.

well if they release some more tickets it would be great but if it would be too close to the even i wont be able to go i need to buy tickets from georgia to CA and cant just do it in a second need to consult the wife and find someone to babysit the kids for this weekend. bah lots of shit need to be done if i get the ticket i hope they will give 1 week worning at least :_)
 
I obviously meant an expansion after Cataclysm :P

I too remember the old raiding days, fucking Twin Emperors was a nightmare...everyone got burnt out doing AQ40 and guild fell apart in Naxx. Did some TBC and WotLK raiding but nothing compares to old 40 man raiding.
