I would have a hard time believing this is nefarious since the security at the Marathon is usually pretty tight, and they've had electrical malfunctions before. They had a huge fire at the hotel near the Prudential only a year ago due to a transformer that knocked out power all across the city.
But they're also saying the explosions were on separate sides of the street, so it's hard to see how that's natural.

Subliminal message that maybe we should all unite in a one world order maybe? ......inb4 they say this was not used with typical explosion material, but instead "black powder" trying to restrict that from us (preventing us to reload our bullets seeing ammo is non-existent in the stores).

If it's true that the two explosions were on opposite sides of the street, I don't see how that could possibly be a gas explosion.
