Bonnaroo lineup out

Some helpful hints if you're planning on coming for the first time:

- Once you get within 30 miles of the site, there is no turning back. Only 1 way in (from either direction), and everybody's on it. Thankfully, they widened the highway, but that just means you're sitting in a bigger traffic jam.

- It is either hot as hell, or pouring down rain. The first couple years, the water situation there was not real good; even now, there are still a lot of people who end up getting medical attention for dehydration.

- If someone comes around and passes you a bottle of water, make sure it is sealed, or you may wake up in the back of some dude's van.

- Get your water before hitting the state line. Although the last couple years, I've been seeing a lot of people coming thru on I-40 and hitting supermarkets in Cookeville or Crossville about 2-3AM to beat the crowd.

- If you're looking to buy booze on the way, in TN, I think there are still a few dry counties here, and most others won't sell between midnight-2am and 6-8am. If you get stopped with an open container in the vehicle, it's usually a citation, but keep your driver sober. TN is one of the worst places to get a DUI.

- UC's are in the crowd, and they will try to buy/sell dope, but they usually gravitate toward the areas where it smells like weed.

- You may think it is a good idea to slide around in the mud. If the mud smells weird, don't get in it, because this is a place where the cows like to shit.
