I don't think so, it very well could be though. I had LazyHippy submit my site a day or two ago on SQUIRT with Outlines, Study Guide, and Practice Quiz as the keywords. Im pretty sure I was there before I submitted it - I just never noticed.
LOL- trust me- if you think my site design is bad now, you should've seen my first design I had for the site back in 2002. Good lord that was horrible. It was done in front page, all changes had to be done on a page by page basis so if I wanted to make a change to the footer, I had to do it to each page individually. It was a pain in the ass!
Actually, look at his listing, and you'll see that Sparknotes is going to have a hell of a time catching up. When G lists you like that, it's generally a sign they consider your site to be an "authority" site. Meaning that it'll be hard for anyone to take over the number one spot for awhile.

My site is filtered? Thats really weird- especailly for the personal websites reason.

The thing that really makes we wonder is that I barely tried to optimize my site. Like if Eli went through it and really optimized it up to his standards, I'm sure I could rank #1 for almost any academic related key word
I wish I could say it raised more money but since my sites audience is high school students, most of them don't have credit cards or a way to donate money over the internet. Every little bit of help counts though so thats what we were able to offer

no, thankfully but im a vt student and were all hurting over this. 32 people is enough that, even in a school of 26,000 or so, if you didnt know someone, you had a friend that did. but thank you.
Now go forth and put up some really good info and make use of the spot so it won't get struck down. I probably would have saved this for when school is going back in..because with summer and all I wouldn't be expecting heaps of traffic... get some text book affiliate links up and an email submit for discount books, tests, exam prep etc....
