Bought a great domain now what?

Well like you said in your OP - you could build it out, or you could try and sell it on here, or you could just hang on to it and let it expire.

So many choices...

wtf is a sidekick
Is this a site for super heroes to recruit sidekicks? Should probably be RecruitSidekicks.com instead

Assuming you aren't trolling, which it doesn't appear so since you're just making yourself look like an idiot:

Oh yeah real mouth watering.

1. You're not accounting for the CTR on your ads
2. You're not accounting for the cut google takes
3. You're probably not going to pull in 40% in #1 slot on that SERP. Flooded with advertisers / authorities and some shopping images but I'll leave it anyways to compensate for Bing / other search engine traffic.
So you really think $86.24 per month is "mouth watering" eh? You beat me to the punch in "making yourself look like an idiot" by a mile.

1. I said "decent monetization". I guess adsense is all your pea-brain can come up with when confronted with the phrase "decent monetization".
2. ^see above
3. Depends on how good your SERP copy is, but I'll give it to you that shopping and above-the-fold ads will affect SERP ctr.

So in summary:
1. You missed the sarcasm in "mouth watering"
2. You assumed that "decent monetization" meant adsense
3. You also seem to have missed the word "theoretically" in my post

Let us know when Tmobile sends you a letter about your domain since "sidekick" is a registered trademark. You don't seem to have a good game plan here.

i think he thought you were talking about adsense monetisation because you based your estimated income on the CPC shown in google's keyword tool :)

I think T mobile owns TM for that product, You might get a letter from them requesting you to give up ownership off that domain, I wouldn't develop it

Except it wasn't a direct calculation - it was more like "if people are paying this $XX per click, then this indicates that the average visitor is worth at least $XX for a good monetizer".

If Suzuki ever brings it back, you're golden.

otherwise...it's shit. Get a better one and make some money.

unless you can cover everything sidekick related, i wouldn't bother with it. You wont have much of an advantage for EMD.

Not sure if you can do much with it at all. If you're looking to develop the domain still then look into making it a review site.

If I were you I'd just do some research and buy another domain. You're only ~$10 into it right now.

lol. Poor guy. 390 searches a month isn't bad to start but you need traffic like xxx,xxx to make decent money onliine :)

Go for a reliable hosting and then start the search engine optimization .....

Hi,

Thank you for the valuable input. Can you point me to some good SEO books that I may read before starting a similar project?

I read the Complete Guide to Search Engine Optimization & Social Media Marketing - WarriorForum and found it really useful.

Can you read the third option in that guide and tell me how to go about it? I was kinda stuck up there where she talks about Social Arbitrage and SEO.

Also, Googlehammer.com looks like a brilliant webhost, can you please look at it and tell me if it's good enough?

Thanks in advance. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
