You do realize that a personal experience can't, by definition, be objective?

You seem to believe that you are somehow a superior human, with a 'truly objective' personal point of view and therefore are responsible for your actions. But that would imply that you believe in the existence of 'inferior' creatures whose point of view is not 'truly objective' and therefore aren't responsible for their actions?

Also, you seem to say all thought is not original because it originates from previous experiences, yet if the thought is derived from 'accurately understood previous experiences' then it is somehow original?

Better quit while you aren't too behind.
 


You seem to have projected what I'm talking about into me. Never said that I can be truly objective( or can I, if I am able to make that judgement? :) ).

Perhaps you project yourself into the other category?

And yeah, only people who have really understood the things they are talking about can have a real thought about them.

And yeah, I believe people are not equal. In fact I think people are not equal in every single dimension of the word. And I believe that after you've reached a certain point in developing that sense of things, you're perfectly fine in your developing as a human being. Of course there's always room for improvement, but it is impractical(or even dangerous) to dig deeper into that well.

If you're below that point though, you're part of the herd.

One day; I can hope to be as awesome as you and be 'truly objective' (your words not mine; I didn't 'project them onto you'). I also hope to one day have 'true understanding' so I can 'generate original thoughts' from things that I haven't experienced.

I'm glad you identified me as part of the herd. I submit to your superiority uber-logic. You win. You are awesome. You have every right to feel smug in your superiority.
 
actually, whatever dude, I argue for the sake of arguing. Call it trolling if you will.

Bottom line is, individuals can be manipulated and influenced really easily. And if you don't understand that, you might be smart, but not really understanding how things work, because the only way to stop people from putting thoughts into your head is to recognize what they are doing and block the funnel.

I hope you get what I mean, because I'm done with this. I usually don't talk much on these topics, because it's against my own interest.
