Breaking Bad - [SPOILER ALERT]

Awesome way to end it. I was just thinking that would be a nice way to end the whole show, then Hank picked up that book.

Last night's was a pretty tame episode, aside from the nine brutal murders, ending with Hank's epiphany at the end. Interesting.

So, there's eight left to go, from here to Walt as Scarface. That includes developing Hank's story, which is obviously complicated, since he'll basically fuck himself by outing his brother in law as the meth kingpin who hid in plain site right under his nose. Not exactly a great career move, not to mention sending his wife's sister to prison and scarring the kids for life.

Whatever happens, it will no doubt include the unexpected. The writing is so good, I'd be surprised if they don't really bring it and wrap this thing up in a spectacular yet nuanced fashion.

Fucking great show. I'm gonna miss it.

Now I get it why the previous ep had to make Walt a bad guy. If he didn't kill Mike we wouldn't be conflicted about if we want Hank to get Walter or not. But right now, I'm not really sure in which way I want it to go... and this is what makes breaking bad awesome show once again.

I hate it being called the "season finale", it's really the half season finale. Which I hate when shows do it. At least they did a good job wrapping up a lot of the plot points.

Overall very good episode. Can't wait to see how they end it.

just watched last nights episode first time seeing the show... how much did i miss? do i need to go back

Did anybody else get creeped out when Walt Jr. Walked the baby by the edge of the pool? I just had this sense that they would fall in.

Foreshadowing, maybe that Walt is putting the crippled kid and baby at risk?

I was just waiting for something bad to happen to one of the kids. Can't believe we have to wait this long for the next 8. At least now we have some what of an idea of why Walt was on the run in episode 1.

I definitely was waiting for them to fall in too.

And ya, major respect lost for AMC for pulling the split season horse shit. But I guess they can do whatever the fuck they want now that they are one of the few channels making anything decent.

Yup, the kids are fucked. So's Hank, most likely.

I think the split season thing is more of a practicality. Gives them more time to write and produce the show on a more limited budget.

Doubtful. It's always more economical to finish shit while everyone is already near the set, and they've been filming a while already and shits already set up, etc.

It's likely cause it's more profitable in the log run to have "two" season premieres and "two" season finales.. when it's really just 1 season.

In case anyone has a shitty TV and couldn't see the writing...
