Bye Limewire

Once upon a time with LW I could hear a song on a tv commercial, locate it, and be listening not long after the commercial had ended. Then later it became a fight to find a version with any quality after fighting the virus infestation.

Torrents. Somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong. I mean I like downloading for two days to listen to a trac as much as anybody but damn. Now with warez I'm watching BlueRay in 45 mins and listening to music in moments.

I see the notice but I just went right passed it to go download my nightly 20+ song beats.

And yea, we are still distributing that limewire download offer in the US and Internationally like mofookin hotcakes

Soulseek FTW if it comes to mp3s ;-)

holy shit.. i haven't used that in years. Is that still the shit for electronic music?

^^ That's exactly what I thought when I saw Xdreamer mention it. Soulseek is where I first found Oakenfold, DJ Shadow, and tons of other DJs in the 90s. Carved out entirely new genres of music for me. Soulseek rocks. Good to see other people using it.

Does anybody still pay for music? I just hide the CDs in my coat under a magnet as i walk out the door.

This has had the total opposite effect to what was intended. Normally, I'd very rarely d/l music, normally a single song at a time. This story reminded me I need more music, and have, since last night, d/led 8 albums from warez-bb, with more on the way.
