Calling out [R]Devore - Cre8tiv Visions

So about a month and a few days after I commission him to do a site for me, I still don't have the site. I was told it would be done in 48 hours, definitely not. I kept giving the guy chance after chance, which I probably shouldn't have done, and I got the standard "I'll have it for you tomorrow definitely" response about 10 times. He rarely responded to IM's, but then about a week into it, he was trying to sell me viddex.com. Damn, did he answer IM's then. Everytime I would come back from away he would try to convince me to buy this site for over an hour. Then for about a week his "Girlfriend, Fiance, and Wife" would all answer his IM's saying he was sick. But his latest excuse is that one of his friends died in the line of fire over in Iraq. I don't know if this is true or not, but if it isn't, that's pretty shitty. He said that about two weeks ago. I then heard from him about a week ago saying I'd have the site next day, nope no site to this day. Anyways, just be weary of this guy and his company. He's also been scamming people at YE - Everyone Be AWARE!!!...Of Cre8tiv-Vision - Young Entrepreneur Forums which is pretty shitty seeing as it's all kids there. I've filed a claim with paypal so I'll probably be getting my money back, but still, he's scammed about 5 people that I can count.

I had to contract him out for some work. He stopped answering my IMs around the time noted above. Good thing I never paid him.
 
There is only so much you really could of expected from someone from michigan.

This board is great , seems like a higher % of people get scammed here including some old mods.

I wonder whos getting ripped off next?

Maybe more of the mods or ex mods, then after you get ripped off you can come back to post only to reply to threads all pissy cause you got ripped the fuck off.. you know who you are .

I bet next thing will be a lawsuit

But to the thread poster, just goto michigan , find his addy.. trust me that whole state is in ruins, most homes stay on the market for 180days so go find his ass probably sittin in some trailer park or 2family rental house with the neighbors internet connection and get your money

Hmm...Chrislingle, perhaps? Or just some other sock puppet. I don't know (or care) about Michigan and I'm not arguing with your post, but for someone with such strong words why not at least have the guts to post under your real screen name?

it must just be that season or somehting, this has been happening to me with my coders for my site also, im gettin pissed, it should have been done months ago but i keep gettin shit like oh i should have it done this week, but then i hear nothing from the guy and it takes a few PMs from me to finnaly get them to respond.
 
about 5 months ago someone else called him out for not doing work they had paid him for. Look for the thread it should be here somewhere

I am NOT a scammer, I HAVE had a serious death of someone close to me that was a Colonel in the Marines, and I HAVE been dealing with all of this recently. I do NOT want to scam anyone, or run off with anyones money. That is not me, and never has been. I am here now and am trying to make this right with everyone.
 
I've also heard you being a scammer at digitalpoint.

I don't like what I'm seeing. Good thing I don't hire people to do stuff.

Sorry man.. this isn't the first time this has happened with you, and I gave you a serious warning about it last time, and you promised it was a one time issue and would never happen again. You are hereby banned from WickedFire, and your Guide status is now stripped too. I am not doing it because I think anything less of you, but because I will not tolerate people who advertise services and then claim a string of bad luck issues one after another, there is no excuse for this shit. I see this all the time with designers, programmers, etc. It's time it stops. How ironic that this shit happens to only the designers and programmers of the world, but never to anyone else.

To anyone thinking about becoming a consultant, designer or programmer, you may want to reconsider, because apparently they have the most out of the office accidents and misfortunes than anyone else, and only when they take on a project with a deadline. Amazing.

yeah, get it right. because you did build up a hell of a reputation here and it would be a shame if you could not keep up with it.

i enjoyed reading your blog and i really hope that you get to straighten out everything. take a new start.
 
Several Colonels have been killed in Iraq. A news search showed this guy to have possibly been the last:

I don't really want to do a full scale search, though. Even though a Marine Colonels death would be newsworthy enough to easily be searched. But I guess there is a small chance that [R]Devore is telling the truth. I'm a vet and so the thought of drudging up a military officer's death to settle a ~$300 dispute is pretty sickening.

[R]Devore knows what he has to do to make this right. Whether he was telling the truth or not is inconsequential now.

so let me say this first off, i am not apart of this site, the only reason i am here is because i googled robb's name and came up on the other thread about him. and since i saw him posting, i thought i would give this a shot....

but i too, have been victim of this guy.

about 4 months ago, i had him start to design one of my clients legal marijuana dispensary shops, he started the logo, designed it out, showed me the layout and then disappeared.

what sucks about this, is that because he said he needed the cash right away, and not wait for a check from my client (who takes forever) i agreed to front robb the money ($450) because hey, we were friends.

then he dissapeared, after designing the site, never coded it or anything.

countless phone calls, then he moved. nothing

phone got shut off.

he blocked me on myspace, doesnt take my messages.

i helped this guy with so much money, fronted him many times, only to eventually get burned by him, because my dumbass thought we were friends.

you emailed me once when angela accidentally answered the phone and said you didnt live there, saying you got locked up and you were gonna finish the work...but i already had to pay someone else to finish it....

i google this guys name ever so often and see other people saying they have been scammed....

i just wanted to let everyone know this situation, and hopefully robb and i can resolve this.

i have emails, messages and phone calls to prove it if anyone is interested.

below is an image of the last email he sent me on jan. 5th saying he was going to send my money and giving his reason why the work wasnt done...
