Can an iPad replace a laptop for work?

Solid tablet, not that much more expensive than iPad ($70). Runs android, gives you plenty of freedom, and flash, and also less "user friendly" from what I've seen from android phones/tablets compared to iDevices...has an SD card slot and a free 4G upgrade...Other than that there is not a huge difference...

Another thing to be noted is, Safari is the best mobile browser...

I've seen this done so yeah I would think that you could replace it for work but then again surely you'd have to make some concessions but the ipad is nothing more than a glorified computer anyway.

Does an iPad have a way to remote into a windows server?

Using it as a remote interface to the windows server of your choice would be the way to go to make a truly mobile office.

Using an ipad for work stuff can get pretty grueling, I don't recommend it

dont create a use for this toy.

there are so many reasons an ipad is inferior. its alright for surfing while waiting for a plane or something, but as a mobile workstation it would be terrible.

To be honest I have an Ipad and its worthless.
Takes me 20 minutes to write a freaking e-mail !

Its basicly useful just for showing of and playing games.
