Can someone explain the Mike's Hard Lemonade commercials to me?

I personally have never seen a guy drink a mike's hard anything before. If I did, he would definitely get made fun of because its considered a chick drink for the most part. With that said, their commercials are definitely targeted toward the male demographic. What am I missing here?

I drink them sometimes. But only because my wife buys them and never drinks the damn things. If I want space in my fridge they must be drunk.

Personally nothing better than a little jack/vodka and some homemade lemonade....

I drink Vex, because it tastes just like Mike's hard lemonade, has the same alcohol content, and you get 6 for the price of 4.

I remember a guy in HS used to drink Zima. When they go on the beer runs, he'd ask them to bring back a 6 pack of Zima and everybody would laugh and usually end up with a brawl. He came out of the closet a few years ago, but doesn't drink Zima anymore.

well what do you expect them to do when marketing a drink called "Mikes Hard Lemonade"? It was geared for men since the start but it everyone thinks is a pussy drink so they are trying to change that. They would have to rename it to "stacy's tasty lemonade" or some shit if they wanted to market to girls better.

I know a guy who drinks it because he has gluten and corn allergies and can't drink most beers. When Redbridge and other hippy beers aren't available he'll drink Mike's.
