Can someone explain the Mike's Hard Lemonade commercials to me?

I've never really thought about who drinks it but I guess the commercials make sense now if all you guys are scared to. Brilliant with the lemonade stands though.

I drink it sometimes... not at parties or in public (for obvious reasons) but I'm not gonna lie... It taste pretty fucking good. Taste just like lemonade. Not sure why it's called a girls drink when it has 5% alcohol just like most regular beers. I guess if it taste good, it's a woman's drink. lol

Still the gayest webmaster forum in existence, hands down.

It seems that some of their ads are trying to imply that it will get dudes laid, but yeah, a lot of them are also completely off.

@bofu - Though I'm sure it's not exclusive to the area, it's yet another reason I'm so fuckin' happy to be out of that area. Uhg.

pretty much all the fruity good flavors are girly drinks...

I like the campaign, and I know some hard ass air force dudes that occasionally have them.

They taste good, what can I say?

The point of the campaign is, "yeah, beer is king... but sometimes you don't want a beer or a jack and coke... you have a sweet tooth and drinking 1 or 2 hits the spot."

I remember a guy in HS used to drink Zima. When they go on the beer runs, he'd ask them to bring back a 6 pack of Zima and everybody would laugh and usually end up with a brawl. He came out of the closet a few years ago, but doesn't drink Zima anymore.

Thats so awesome because I remember a couple guys in High School actual tried to get people to think that shit was hard core, I think there both dead now, if not I hope they are....

Yeah totally clueless marketing...
... oh wait -- it's sold in every fuckin grocery store, gas station and deli in N. America. And they have millions a year to spend on advertising. Hmmm?
