lol, I can't stop laughing. Here's what Canadians get all upset about, and define as police harassment:

It's pretty funny how the US and Canada are so close together, but at the same, so far apart in many ways.

the security guards seem more friendly as well

Ugh, hate cops.

I'm glad I know people that can get me out of anything short of murder.

If this was in Canada, he would be saying 'pardon' while snatching him out of the truck:

As a Canadian, I'm offended that you lump me in the same group as the asshat who shot that video. That's a guy who deserved a police beat-down.

Couldn't agree more.

The guy was being a complete dick to cops who were being extremely nice and professional about keeping drunk drivers off the road.

Don't worry, I'm Canadian too, and even used to live in Vancouver before.

Ummm, I think you may have missed the point though. This jerk thinks he was harassed because he debated with the police about the proper way to conduct a polite conversation. You don't find that the least bit comical? If that's harassment, I'd say we're doing pretty good.

He must have watched too many sovereign man Youtube vids and decided, "fuck yeah, I'm going to be a sovereign man too and complain about the corrupt police!", except it obviously doesn't work quite as well in Canada.

hehe, they were debating about how to talk to each other politely. That still cracks me up.

Sorry, I think I should have included an emoji. I wasn't really offended, I was just trying to be a bit sarcastic. The guy was being an asshat though, that wasn't sarcastic.

I certainly did find it comical in a shake-my-head kinda way. I think I've watched too many episodes of Border Security (Border Security - National Geographic Channel - Canada). It has desensitized me to situations like the one in the video. Nothing but ultra-polite border guards dealing with dimwits, and self-righteous dickstains. Look it up for lulz.
