And these are just 3 events where he actually got caught. We all know criminals generally don't get caught the first time. Who knows what else he has done. These 3 are major offenses. We aren't talking about fucking running a stop light or any misdemeanors. He is a felon.

He has some serious character and integrity issues.. especially for being a DDS.

lol He was convicted of a felony in 2008 for poaching here in the US, he shot a trophy black bear in an area he didn't have a tag for, then lied to feds and said he shot it somewhere else.

Here is a picture of Cecil the Lion being violent against his own that the media wont show you. They want to always point fingers at dentists that kill lions, but never talk about the rampant lion on lion crime that takes place everyday in the wild. In addition, Cecil The Lion was found to have traces of tall yellow grass in his system, which coincides with his violence. Re: "His track record indicates," I apologize for being vague. More specifically, I meant his track record for going on similar hunts in Africa that were on the up and up. That's my fault for being ambiguous.

Regarding owning guns in the US after a felony, this is on a state-by-state basis. In his state of Minnesota, it's legal to own guns after serving an entire sentence for non-violent offenses.
 
They dragged a carcass behind a vehicle to lure the lion out of the park where it was protected, shot it with a crossbow and failed to kill it (the dentist is supposed to be an amazing shot), and it took the lion 40 hours to die.

People who sport hunt, especially with bows, talk about the skill of the hunt, having to sometimes stalk their prey for days to get close enough to make a clean kill. These guys baited this lion and served him up in front of this clown and he failed to do the one thing he was meant to do properly, perform a clean kill on a legal animal. Then they tried to hide the radio collar he was wearing, chopped off his head and skinned him. For what? To put him on the wall?

I'm a meat eater, and I have absolutely no problem with sustenance hunting. If you want to kill and process a deer every season to fill your freezer (of which there are millions because they breed like rabbits) then more power to you, you're more in touch about where your food comes from than those that buy it on Styrofoam at the grocers.

But this trophy hunting bullshit, hunting threatened animals for shits and giggles, is simply killing for killing sake, because of a deep seated love for killing. Torturing and killing animals is a trait shared by most serial killers. This guy, and people like him (and there are many), are seriously wired wrong. I wouldn't want him anywhere near my family and friends.

Yes, this canned hunting is bs and so is most hunting for sports alone. It's somewhat perverse. It's a different matter if you're living near the wild and go shoot some animals for food and hides (and adventure) once in a while, but the people who spend a lot of money to kill some magnificent beast just for that? Nah, that's small penis syndrome. A man eats what he kills of animals. That's how I was raised. I also shake my head at sports fishermen who don't eat fish.

Back on topic: I don't care what this dentist does with regards to hunting lions. I think that lynch mob can go fuck themselves.
