I've got Blue Cross, I have a HDHP (high deductible health plan), its only about $60/mo. I basically don't plan on getting sick so only have insurance in case something pretty bad happens. I'm comfortable paying for doctors visits and stuff like that out of pocket. Blue Cross did hook me up with a free or cheap ($10 maybe) flu shot last year.

Health care in this country is only affordable if you are poor, so if you don't want to move out of the country, at least quit your job or become an illegal immigrant. Those guys get all the free health care they want.
Either that or skip insurance and just make enough money to pay for all your expenses out of pocket.
Health care is completely inaccessible to the average middle class American.
If you were recently on your parent's health care, your new healthcare won't cover anything for (usually) a year, and they will say its your old insurance companies responsibility. Your old insurance company will deny it because you're not covered under them anymore. If they DO decide to cover it, they'll find a way to make you end up paying it anyway.
Healthcare in this country fucking blows. I know. I deal with it on a daily basis. Nobody gives a shit about you or your problems, and if they do, they don't have any authority to do anything about it.
