This is the problem with directory submitters. They should use a separate email address for the submissions and for contact. Nobody wants their personal mail box full of 1000 confirmation mails.

My service buyer gave me a fresh e-mail id with pswd for reply mails and I used it.
I am not sure why you are worried about his inbox,
I usually create a new g-mail id for each order and use that for reply mails. And in the report I give the id with password,
