The correct url is www.iraqwarvideos.com -- It's no secret that I own this site. Haven't updated it in months either. It used to dominate all of the search engines, and I still get forum signups for it. Never promoted it either. Was making some cash earlier on, and I still get adsense revenue from it, heh.

This site was also mentioned on the Howard Stern Show twice for some videos I had posted on there. One of the reasons I stopped updating is because having to sift through all of those terrorist videos was just getting so depressing for me. Watching allied troops get shot and blown up by jihadis, you can only take so much of it in a week or two.

I no longer own this. It was part of a now defunct project for a digital camera store. Needless to say, the project went under. I learned my lesson for trying to get into a non-internet style business that requires a lot of offline work. Just not for me. Unfortunately I lost about $55k to learn that lesson, but thankfully I didn't lose my shirt by cutting my losses six months into it, instead of a year into it.

Once a guy on icq posted a link to a video and it was a couple of iraqi soldiers and an American on the floor and they just sliced his kneck and thats when i closed it but yeah i wouldnt be able to collect videos like that. Im kinda imune to getting hard ons over porn movies now since i see so many daily but something like your soldiers getting shot and stabbed you would never get used to seeing.

I heard an audio clip of journalist Nicholas Berg getting beheaded very slowly by Abu Al-Zarqawi and that gave me the chills. I didn't have to see it to know it was really really sick.

Yeah I saw that video, it was insane.

Well, with my site I refused to show terrorist videos. It was more or less a way to show people the combat related videos that wouldn't be aired on the major news channels.

Crazy story too, I had this one guy in the UK that obviously had ties to Iraqi insurgency groups, because he once sent me a video that aired on my site before it did on CNN or FOX. It had happened 30-40 mins before too, and I contacted a friend over at the FBI about it. Long story short, I was advised to remove it because the families of the soldiers didn't even know they were dead yet. From then on I got first hand approval from my friend before posting anything. I may have zero ethics, but I do have morals, and posting videos before the next of kin is contacted is not something I wanted to do. I also handed over the UK guy's information to my friend to start investigating them.

Who knew a site about the war in Iraq would get me friends in the FBI and INTERPOL.
