DA: Hofstra student lied about rape

Chick at Hofstra falsley accuses 5 men of raping her. Turns out it was complicit

Apparently, the men made a video of their little encounter with the chick. Had she kept quiet, no one would even know - other than people around campus. Instead, she has made herself a worldwide sensation. That is, once the video gets out.

Now that it is not rape, the authorities should let her name be released. Look at what she did to four innocent people. Now it is her turn to reap what she sowed.

Anyone that falsely accuses someone of a crime should be punished as if they committed that crime. The more serious the accusations, the more prison time for it. Nip that shit right in the fucking bud.

I wouldn't go that far, but definitely some kind of punishment for wasting police time.
They have real criminals to catch.

Also, being accused of something like rape, child molestation or murder... that shit sticks. People remember your name, look you up online, and find those old articles and even if you were 100% acquitted and found entirely innocent, the trial by media has fucked up a good portion of your life.
 
girls who call rape and lie should get the same sentences rapists do. Statistically very few rape cases get solved compared to how many are filed especially considering some rapes turn into homicides as well. They're taking away valuable resources and credibility from real victims. I've known several girls (unfortunately a few of them were also friends) that have falsely called rape. Two filed rape charges but later admitted it was consensual they just regretted it the next day (NOT RAPE!), one other I knew would call rape on every guy she slept with just because she wanted to keep claiming she was a virgin, another called rape on a guy after she got too drunk and woke up in a hotel room with him, I was there with them that night and it was her idea (not remembering is also NOT RAPE!). Even though they're friends of mine and none of the guys actually got arrested as far as I know IMO they should all be in fuckin prison right now. Instead after all these cases the cops sit on their thumbs deciding if they should press some minor misdemeanor charges against them and eventually never do while real victims can't even get a cop to do more then write a report on their case.
