Southern China, close to Hong Kong.
BEIJING – Four people were injured Tuesday when a military aircraft crashed into a group of homes in the southeastern Chinese province of Guangdong for unknown reasons, China Central Television reported.

The crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. in the city of Shantou when the Chengdu J-7 interceptor plunged to the ground into a residential area and triggered a fire, the network said.

The pilot parachuted to safety before the crash, CCTV reported.

Three of the four people injured on the ground were hospitalized and one is listed in serious condition.

Production of the Chengdu J-7 ceased in 2006 but it continues to play an important role in the Chinese air force due to its functionality, flexibility and low cost. EFE

My point is that you cannot imagine how arrogant the Chinese are.

They are threatening all their neighbors, and brand themselves as the new main power in Asia and beyond.

But once the usual screams are gone away, you realize that China is not that strong, and that its military are not that great power.

China has been an inward looking country for 2000 years+.

I have been in several European countries.
I have been to Japan.

Only in China, I have seen such an aggressive and militaristic behavior.

They have even designed

Maybe one day, China will go to war, and we (Chinese and expats with families) will be obliged to follow.

It would be the worst mistake, but I think, the Big Boss in Beijing could / would do it.

I really wish that America could stop China militaristic adventures, by intimidation.
 
Does the Chinese government subsidize its citizens to venture out to the USA to open Chinese buffets? That shit is killing us from within. Greasy and full of MSGs.

I think you're getting pissy with the wrong country. If anyone is beating the war drums, it's the US.

Wouldn't worry about China trying to take over militarily. They're doing just fine taking over country by country economically. They don't need their military.
 
Well, I hope, you are right, and it will only be limited to economic competition.

America seems quite aggressive, too.
Plus, I must acknowledge that US support to Israel is kind of sick.

One day, new wars may start in Asia and Pacific area, mostly for resources.

Everyone likes to say that, but I highly doubt it will ever happen. We're too globalized and connected to each other nowadays. For example, the US and China aren't about to goto war with each other. It's not even really a possibility, because it'd be like going to war with yourself. Why would you bomb your own factories, or your own source of income?

Well, the plan is to punish Japan, for World War II.

Then, keep the USA out of Chinese business & interests in Pacific area.

And slowly, but surely force the neighboring countries to submission.

It is not possible to defeat you, but to apply strong economic / military pressure to make you submissive, that is the plan.

Finally, slowly but firmly establish global hegemony.
