I know, most of people in wf love Ron Paul, and love liberty.

I understand and I agree with it.

Well, maybe in the USA, you have some rights.

In China, it is --different-- ;)

It is not possible to defeat you, but to apply strong economic / military pressure to make you submissive, that is the plan.

Global hegemony? Good luck bros. In the last hundred years only the United States and Russia have exerted long-term regional hegemony and only the United States from 1990 onward can even attempt to remotely claim to be the world's first true global hegemony. That argument itself is flawed though because despite the enormous military and economic power the US wields, its influence is still relatively limited to what most people consider a true hegemonic power.

If China is truly aspires to be THE world power, it's a fool's errand and a tremendous waste of resources, time, lives, and effort. Maybe it will happen, but it probably won't. More likely is that over the next thirty years China, Russia, the US, and the EU (if it can stay together) will become the next series of true Great Powers with several extremely powerful regional players (Brazil, India, Indonesia).

Isn't it the Great Asian challenger to America? :laughing-smiley-007

Jets crash all the time. The US had a bad crash a few years ago in San Diego that killed a few people - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_San_Diego_F/A-18_crash

China's military might not be incredibly sophisticated now, but they're getting there. Their biggest weakness is in jet engines. Despite all their attempts at knocking off American-made and Soviet-made engines they cannot, for the life of them, produce one that is reliable. That will probably fix itself in a decade or so. Then they'll try to build steam catapults and, given that the Soviet Union never figured out how to get them to work right, that could take a while as well.
