Clients Asking Where Their Leads Came From

Tell them e-harmony, then laugh. Then tell them listen, I am the master of the internet like a fisherman is the master of the ocean. I create many fishing vessels and some catch fish and some dont. Some need to sit still and create trust among the fish, then they become profitable. But to ask where clients come from is like asking Tuna dot com(from the show) where his blue fin tuna comes from, he will say the ocean, and ill tell you the internet.

so full of win

epicly stated

@OP, unless you agreed upon sharing your lead sources before entering the transaction, you have no obligation to reveal them - and you shouldn't. All they need to know is whether the leads convert, and if not, it's on them to cut you loose.

Do any of you also refuse to allow the client to look at the landing page?

If anything, show them a screenshot without your URL.

Keep in mind you shouldn't "refuse" them anything, just "deflect" them. Don't reveal your valuable information/sources (if you did, why would they need you?), but also don't cause them to resent you.
