I bought this a few days ago and just wanted to say I`m pretty impressed with it. I`m not such a tech-savvy guy so all I really care about is that a tool makes my life easier, and this one really does. Previously I had used MNF and another one called Niche Finder (some WSO shit) which were both alright but had their weaknesses. UNF is way better and takes care of most of the weaknesses of those other 2. Like on MNF I would have to click on each individual keyword to get the competition analysis. On Niche Finder it automatically calculated competition for all keywords at the same time, which made every single keyword search take 10 like minutes. On UNF you can do a huge search, then select the keywords you want and do a mass comp analysis on just that group of keywords. Awesome. Plus the sheer number of keywords you can go through with this is awesome - it means you can almost always get some viable keywords out of a single seed keyword, whereas with the other tools you`d have to brainstorm a lot more seed keywords just to get some good viable kw`s.

I also like being able to toggle between closely-related keywords only, or more expansive searches. I`ve been using the expansive searches to find my main keyword, then using the closely-related kw search to get secondary keywords I can use in post and page names etc.

The only issue I`m having with it is the proxies. I`m getting a lot of failures while analysing competition, so I have to run it a few times to get results for every keyword. Any advice to make that go better? Or is that just how it goes? I`m using the proxy bonaza package you recommended.

Anyway, good shit. This is going to prevent headaches and make me money.

As for the proxies failure, we're releasing an update today/tmrw that'll fix that.

I just got this recently together with private proxies, but whenever I enter in a keyword or try to expand it doesn't. How can this be fixed?
 
i keep getting a timed out message when i start up the program now. it is happening after unf tries to log into google

Hi,

We're aware of this issue, Google changed their keyword tool's interface (again). Our programmer's on it and will issue a fix out in 24h.

(sorry about the big font, I need people to notice this)

  • Updated the Competition Analyzer to use a more consistent indicator with a much higher success rate and faster speed.
  • Added the ability to remove filtered out keywords (on right click).
  • Added Brainstorming link in the help menu.
  • Fixed the "Could not save state" bug.
  • Updated keyword expander to reflect Google's recent changes.

What is everyone using for a proxy solution with this software? Will I need to purchase a monthly private proxy subscription or what? Thanks in advance...

You can use private proxies if you want, but scraped public proxies that pass google work also. You can get a bunch easily with softwares like Proxy Multiply, Proxy Goblin or Best SEO Suite. You can even use proxies harvested with scrapebox if you don't mind spending the time it takes to test them to only find out later that they got banned because everyone uses them.

That being said, you no longer need as many proxies with our new competition analyzer.

It uses the Comp. Pages value instead but basically it's in the following order from easiest to hardest:

Very Easy
Easy
Moderate
Hard
Very Hard
 
Clyde/Anyone figured out an easy way of removing keywords with no EMD available? I was thinking export to Excel and use a formula, but i'm having no luck whatsoever.
