Competitor ruining my AdSense website

I don't care what all the ballin ass ballers here say about Adsense, there are some niches that it is absolutely the best way to monetize. Not every niche has a kick ass $45 per lead CPL offer that you can push Every niche doesn't even have a tangible product that you can offer, so contextual advertising it really the only (and best) way to go for some niches.

Agreed, Adsense is very good for seasonal/special occasions with lots of traffic and no specific offers.

I think the Adsense reps have very limited scope in the detail they can give on an issue which will get you banned. Who knows why - too many reviews to process, protecting the red-flag indicators, etc. It's extremely frustrating when trying to fix a problem, especially when phone support is non-existant. I recently had a high performing site get banned from my account but could not figure out how the issue correlated with that site in any way. You should try removing adsense for a longer time period, because it just looks suspicious if you remove them while the site is under review. Maybe use the verified sites feature in Adsense, incase someone is using the adcode from your main site somewhere else.

Have you blocked ads for anyone who doesn't arrive from a SERP yet? If your competitors aren't too smart, that might solve the problem.
Don't forget to make it so when there's no adsense, fake adsense blocks you make yourself show up. Else he'll figure it out very quickly.

(also, a lot of phones mask the referrer, so you're missing out on money if you don't at least set up a CPA offer fake adsense block)

well its been 4 days and no follow up email yet.

those who got the same email, did they send you a followup email or did you just get banned and never got anything else?

oddly enough, I have removed all ads and traffic has increased. diggin' it so far...

To me it looks like you misunderstood the message - it sounds like they are saying you are unduly calling attention to ads on your site. Not that someone on a 3rd party site is calling attention to your ads.

Look at your site - see if you are compliant and make sure you arent drawing attention to any of the ads in any way, i.e. referring to them in the copy, having a header above them saying "Sponsors" or "Our ads" or something.

You are correct, it sounds like he is encouraging users to click ads.
