Conan O'Brien Going Out With A Bang

I always liked the old time slot because he had the New Year's countdown for the Central time zone with dancing corn and shit, for all the people who get tired of watching the ball drop in NYC 1 hr early.

the horse with the minx coat watching football was pretty good, but 4.2mil is probably fake.

All of those bits were fake, he said it on air last night because he said everyone was getting pissed off at the thought of him wasting all that money

This mother fucker isn't pissed. He just got 40 fucking million dollars to walk away. I'm sure Fox will sign him on real soon for a real nice salary. He's going to be like Shane fucking Dollas and throw money all over himself as soon as he gets home.

Probably true. I'd say he's more upset that his dream is over, and also upset for his staff that made the move to CA with him.

That's gotta suck for his staff. Moving your entire family across the country for a job you thought would be a minimum of 10-15years, only to see it disappear 7-months later.
Sure it sucks for Conan's family too, but $35 million will take care of a lot of that. He doesn't have to worry about another job, or moving expenses, etc.. like his some of his staff probably will.

Overall the staff of 150 got 12 mil... not to bad of a severance, and they will probably go with him wherever he goes

Does that $12 million include the $4.5 million the executive producer received? If not, an average of $80k each...not too bad.
If so, the others have an average of approx $50k, still not too bad I suppose.
