How I got my clicks down to 5 cents with Google.

First off having the number 1 add position in some niches isn't always the best thing. Certain demographics in your niche may like to jump around and look at other pages before they finally decide on yours.

I like to stay around 2nd and 3rd ad position. This is one factor in keeping your click cost low

next is micro targeting your niche

Know how?
And why are you posting this in Enlightened Members section? Looks to me like you're getting ready to try to sell something. Could be wrong but if you're here trying to hock your ebook you should be paying for a thread in BST.

B~

I figured it was finally time I contributed

Anybody want some tips just holler me.. I dont care about money it comes n goes n I got plenty

yea no prob man, its all about micro targeting and ad relevancy id been testing it for a long long time, it all depends on your niche of course, every niche isnt going to get clicks that cheap, but what I did was at first I started off with one major campaign, lets say the nich was in pizza, I made sure my text add said pizza in the headline, ad description, add URL, than of course many articles wth the word "pizza" (of course pizza was really not my niche) now all that is common sense im sure you already knew all that> now here what made the biggest difference for me I payed attention to my highest converting keywords lets say my highest traffic keyword was pizza in New york, what I than did was create a whole new domain so they example would be newYorkPizza.com now its super relivent than when you change the adwords to only display in New york its relivent x10 and thats when google starts loving you because its so relivant everyone clicks on yours that your click threw rate goes so high and eventually click cost will go down

protip:

while you CPC is so low, this prob won't effect you ( i mean for .05 I wouldn't give a shit my position if I was top 3 ), but for higher end niches you need to be creating pivot tables and reports based on average position to find out which position gives you best ROI for your campaign and CTR.

Hint to the above, normally its not positions 1-3. Although, your case is a tad different as a .05 click for top 3, this report won't change much.

This forum is where great threads get moved, the admins havent figured out how to stop people from starting new threads here.

Giving back or contributing is a good idea.

170k clicks for $9000! what sort of niche is this?
I didn't even think $0.05 per click was even possible in this day and age.

You do state "How I got", but you didn't state how you got??

This is a good way to maximize profit. However, depending on the search volume and your budget, it can be better to get more clicks at a lower margin.

This.

ROI isn't everything.

I'd rather get 200% ROI on $50000 than 2000% ROI on $500.

Lower rankings will always get better ROI by definition, because you'll pay less for them, for what will usually be the same value leads. The problem is you don't get as many leads.

He is probably using keywords that like 0-3 people are bidding on. This is how you can get high CTR and mega low CPC.

Those are your pro tips? If you do Adwords, that's the basics of the basics for fuck sakes.

Going to buy fuckyouinnewyork.com and get my ads relevancy up to 100% now. Thanks dude!

Let me explain better for those who didn't comprehend my tips, obviously some comprehended n some didn't.

The way I did this was by first starting off with a broad campaign, hundreds of thousands of keywords in this one campaign, out of those hundreds and thousands of keywords, you will notice some high traffic keywords, what i than did was create one whole new site with that top performing keyword in the domain name. the next thing that makes the biggest difference is when you than take that new domain and show it in one specific state. instead of going broad how we did with our first original campaign. So now that its micro targeted by state, we will than include this state name, plus our top keyword in our text ads headline, description, URL

"he that has an ear let him hear the tips in which I provideth"

This is the wrong section. All you did was state that you can get a higher ctr by creating an EMD off of keyphrases that work well in PPC.

If you noticed the patterns of any other threads in the section, the first post has a great deal of content and information (step by step in most cases) needed to do whatever it is that you are explaining. At best this goes in the newbie section or traffic & content.

Generally the community policy is that people don't post to the enlightened section directly, they usually create a great thread that gets moved here, by the powers that be, when members "vote" to move it to this section.

In regards to the method, it's an interesting and good technique.

Carry on...

You both seem to forget I also said roi AND CTR, you can do one or both

I.E. do this report to find the best position via CTR, which is more clicks for you. - "he that has an ear let him hear the tips in which I provideth"
