content vs. networking...that's it?

I have received several questions, asking,
What is more valuable to online marketing: Content or Networking...
I certainly believe the this is a solid question. It is the right question for many. Too many people today are
asking what "will make me rich," "how do I make a million overnight", with no research or understanding what it is
they are even selling, and why they are selling it onlin...The above question is stated usually by those who are
wondering what it is they need to work at (hard), to make their website a little more visible. Kudos for that...
It really doesn't matterk, in the end however, if you lack the understanding to make the sale. Online business does
not always rule out your need to get the customer interested, either "softly - via website", or "direct" via a phone
call, email, etc...So, ensure your site is user friendly, and a person can find what they are looking for in ten
seconds or less, otherwise, they are on to another site...
I think it also bears mentioning that you must understand that there is much, much more to marketing than just these
two items. Many (if not all succesfull) businesses still profit through fax/email/phone/direct campaigns/marketing
strategies/ and the list is literally endless. Almost any business owner I know of, no matter how much they prefer
internet marketing, still understands that it makes fiscal sense to capitalize on the brick & mortar market as well.
I know of a Medical practitioner who designed some diagnostic equipment that ended up making him literally millions.
It started with a $500 postcard investment to a targeted market. He followed with a second of the same thing, and
never, ever, hit the internet...Imagine if he did...But he still isn't complaining...
Captilize on your product, and the myriad of other marketing information that is available to you today. Both on and
offline. Although online still has better marginal profit capability, and endless opportunity (I put the majority of
my weight in online).
Good luck, and I hope your ventures are fruitfull...Keep your eyes open...

Help me out w/the whole spam thing fellas...Thank's for the BS, on the site making the eyes bleed thing...Cute...

In all seriousness, what do you assume about the message. Don't like to read? Most of my background is in direct-marketing, and is (obviously) not made in the online world. I leave that up to other associates, and relay info I have learned from them.

I have led corporations (In my current case) to 2mill. in gross sales - actualy 1.98 at this given point in a 7month given time-frame. I have managed markets exceeding 9-10mill. in gross purchases through training and developing both sales and marketing. The info I posted, was, as a result of some questions I have received, and have seen posted numerous times. Yes, I will probably post this same info in one of the whopping 5 forums that I am a member of, most of which have appreciated the feedback. Most of whom don't get headaches when they read more than a paragraph or two...Cut me a little slack...However, I don't blame you. Although I did receive the spam comment once before. They backed off, but I have yet to understand what that actually means...

Tell you what. I will take the little signature off and post no links from this point going forward. In return, I believe I would earn the right for you to have a little respect for what I bring to the table...

And yes, there is actually a human being at the end of this, who is putting some time and effort on the line.

Later,

Corporations? Gross. Small biz ftw.

In all seriousness though... your site doesn't even capture leads, so I can confidently say that direct marketing isn't your strong point.

As far as networking vs. content - I would say BOTH. Balance is extremely important in all aspects of life.

#1 Of course my site doesn't carry any strength...Few hits. I haven't even directed most clients in that direction, as I am one of those few who understand their is a long way to go in that area, and am certainly willing to admit that humbly...
#2 The direct marketing comment has nothing to do w/internet, hence the message in the first place. I think most of your counterparts would have gotten that point.
3# Balance is important, hence the message. Yes, content...seems to outweigh networking to a degree, although they certainly are the big two. My message was to keep an eye out for outside opportunity as well. Take advantage of the market, your demographic, your target buyers, and sometimes look outside the wide wide world of online marketing, as there is still money to be made.

In all honesty, if anyone is over the age of 18, with at least a little knowledge behind there belt, have a little courage, and get the kids to open there eyes a little bit and shut em' up. I don't mind a little humor, but let's get off the ready, shoot, aim thing...

Seriously...I don't even know where Newburg is...However, you certainly do have the right state. Good job sparky...The security guard / patrol thing should be a good giveaway retard. There is more than one Aaron Bennett, and yes...SMS hasn't made crap as it is a relatively new business model...I never mentioned whether my money was made in the "job" sector, and it is, doing exactly what I mentioned I did...

I market, I sell, and I'm proven. I what point, and how many return comments do I have to make before you give me a little credibility...

Your first post was called spam because it's clearly cut and paste from another source. It has returns where it shouldn't and the breaks aren't right. It's a lot of talk but it really doesn't say anything. I'm stumped as to why you posted it in the first place really (for the backlink in your sig I'm guessing).

If you were accused of spam elsewhere it's because you've been to a bunch of forums cutting and pasting the same thing.
