Cop Assholes shoot dog

Considering I can't hear sound, I don't know the full details of this dog story but ... looks sad to me. =( Poor dog

And for the second video, that was funny as hell. The dude's like "keep your car still" and the cop drives back and forth while the dogs chase him. Then, a few cars slow down in the middle of the road just to watch, looool.

Last part really cracked me up when the cop finally decided to speed off to the other cop car for help. His car already far away with the two dogs still chasing him LOL.

2. There is no sound, so you don't know what the officers are saying to dispatch on their radios or on their cell phones. So it is very likely that they were ordered to shoot the dog, and didn't just decide to do it for the hell of it. If they shot the dog without prior instruction, there would have be an investigation into it.
What could possibly justify such an order? Are you suggesting that the dog was speaking or making verbal threats while lying down which can't be heard due to lack of audio? Threatening to detonate an IED?

You don't know what the history of the dog was, only that it had been growling at neighbor kids - according to the article. There were probably other circumstances leading up to this besides just growling. The dog may have bitten someone or several people for all we know. That article didn't smack of hardcore investigative journalism.
Even if this biased & wishful "reasoning" were true it doesn't justify (legally or morally) the summary execution of a creature that is clearly not an immediate threat.

As some people mentioned above, that dog may have bitten someone after simply being abandoned by it's owner. No way to tell the whole story from that short video.

It's sad to see the dog shot after it's clearly under control, but let's be honest - that dog would have been taken to the pound and put to sleep anyway.

I don't blame the dog or the cops. It's the owner of the animal who didn't do their job.
