For non-americans you can just buy directly by making a wire to mtgox or bitstamp (very low fees for sepa transfers), or any other exchanger (but those 2 are the 2 bigger I think).

So did any of you guys buy when the first thread was posted last year and they were like $4? They went up to $30 and down to like $6 with in a week of that Silk-road outing. I bought a few at like $9 and pretty much forgot about them until recently.

I had about 25-30 in december that I was getting for less than $16 each. Ended up converting them to liberty reserve, I have a few hundred in my LR account, which could have been almost 2k in bitcoins now

Dropped to 116 usd. And so it never surpassed the 136 or 131 mark if I remember right.
